There were eight yesterday, but now there's a Spearow, too! So I have no idea what other things might be there now.
ALSO I CAN'T FIND THAT SHINY THAT SUPPOSEDLY EXISTS. BUT I SHALL.

I agree! Someone who hasn't caught any Pokemon can evolve one of their starters (assuming no one else has evolved that one already), while those who HAVE caught a Pokemon will evolve one of those. Or if your starter Pokemon is the ONLY Pokemon you have, just...evolve that one. If there are any of us that is the only one in our team to have found a specific Pokemon (for instance, Fate with Vulpix), then that person should evolve that Pokemon. For instance, assuming no one else finds Vulpix before the 24 hours is up...Fate will end up evolving his Vulpix.
