Appearance: Spinel is about average height for a young woman her age. Her hair is a light shade of chestnut brown hair with auburn highlights that show in the sunlight and her eyes are colored in a shade of plum. Her normal attire is a white sleeveless time, white gloves, and white loose fitting pants that all have sapphire accents. Underneath the pants, however, she wears leg braces due to an accident she had a couple years back. On her right leg she wears a full leg brace and a knee brace on her left knee. She has a hard time walking without them, thought it's not impossible and is extremely painful after a short time. Overall she puts on a calm and confident front, doing her best to hide her true feelings in these dark times.

She dresses practically most often, wearing clothes that are dark or forest-toned with many pockets. The only frivolity she wears is a silver chain necklace with a topaz pendant. She quite visibly carries a rather large knife on her left thigh.

Appearance: Judging solely from physical appearance, it is odd that Perry has survived the lawlessness that followed the riots. To call his extra pounds baby fat is to be too kind for Perry is fairly overweight. Even the baggy pants and orange sweatshirt that the boy favors cannot hide this fact. All one has to do is look at his face, pasty under his thin blonde hair with a dusting of blemishes across his large cheeks. The part of Perry that seems to be in the best shape is his bright electric blue eyes that constantly scan back and forth while taking in any detail that occurs to him. It is the look of prey, and mousy would indeed be a fitting word to describe the teenager if his size didn't turn the descriptor into a cruel joke.
