The Good as New Repair shop is in the very corner of the city, and it's a almost a miracle that the owners get any business at all. However, it becomes clear to you the second you step inside the back entrance just how important these two Hippopotas' services are to the townspeople. Turbo and Spimmley, the siblings who run this shop, have several projects around the shop which have yet to be repaired, are already half finished, or are awaiting pickup. You're shocked by the sheer number of objects, machinery, broken parts and tools that are lying about. It's clear that the two did not bother to clean up before they headed home for the night, but they certainly did not anticipate an Emissary coming by the staff end while they weren't awake.

You begin searching for anything that you think might be useful to you and your team. You're continually stunned by the many spare hovercraft parts there are, which are separated from the broken household items and other objects in need of repair. On the walls are tools, pictures and even an old-fashioned painting advertising their business, with two cartoon-styled Hippopotas fixing things adored in safety equipment. The bottom reads: "If your worldly possessions are in need of <Repair>, don't hesitate to give us a call!"

You continue through the workshop and enter the front section, which is where all the merchandise for sale is. There are spare parts, tools, materials and more in separate sections. This room is larger than the back, so it takes you a while to search. After rounding the giant room a few times, you conclude that there's nothing here. You check the back one last time before you intend on leaving, when you spot something. It's an old tyre which rests upon one of the walls. It appears to be in good condition, and not at all in need of repair, but as you near it and read the information note by its side, you realise that it's for an outdated mode of transport, and therefore the Hippopotas siblings can't sell it. The note details that they plan to give it away for free. You ponder for a bit before deciding that it might be worth taking with you, as you have a weird feeling that you'll need it somewhere.

Item [Spare Valvo Tyre] was added to the Team Inventory.

You awkwardly haul the tyre out of the shop, ensuring that you don't knock anything over on your way out. You're not sure how to explain this to your teammates, but perhaps it won't be long until someone finds that they might have a use for it.

    Search: Eclipse hotel exterior (42)
You check out The Eclipse Hotel, which is very fancy and luxurious. The fancy lighting makes it feel very welcoming, though everything is so ritzy that you feel like your money is draining just by looking at it all. Despite that, you can tell many rich Pokémon use this fancy hotel when visiting Silvercoal City, although it seems lately their number of clients has been greatly reduced due to the situation with the Stalkers. The building itself has a very fanciful stone color as it has a great view of the coast.

The outside perimeter seems well-maintained and the walkways offer a nice, tranquil illumination as carefully cared-for shrubs, bushes, and flowers are alongside the paths. Still, while searching along the outside walls, nothing really seems to catch your interest or stand out as alarming.

As you check around the back, when you attempt to use the silver gateway door that leads to the pool area, the latch breaks and suddenly the door gives way, causing you to crash to the ground painfully upon the fallen gate door that was broken off of its hinges.

Amia has suffered 1 point of damage to Health.

Upon getting up and wincing in pain, you look at the fallen gate door and at first, you thought the gate door had been tampered with or vandalized. However, upon closer inspection, you see it was nothing more than a faulty series of screws that weren't secured into the metal support beam the way they were supposed to. The fact the gate door collapsed wasn't intentional and was simply bad construction.

Still in a bit of pain, you look around the rest of the building's exterior, but nothing really seems to catch your attention as being out of place. The rest of the hotel looks quite nice and very fancy, but you can't understand why they were so careless with the assembly of the door gate.

You decide to head back, still looking back at the hotel a bit distrustfully.

Interview (mission) 14. Fern the Illumise
Having already found out where Fern works, you approach the police station in the hopes that she's working a night shift. To your luck, she's doing just that, although she seems a little annoyed to have been disturbed in the middle of her work. She flits up from behind her desk and greets you at the entrance.

"Hello!" she shouts at you, and you wince at her unnecessarily loud volume. Even though it's the dead of night, this Illumise seems to have little to no regard for keeping quiet. You can only imagine how many neighbours she disturbs while she's at home simply chatting over holocam. "I haven't seen your face before, but you're clearly here to help," she assumes, holding up one of her fingerless hands to signal for you to wait where you are.

Again she flutters over her cubicle's wall and lands on the other side, collecting a tablet before zooming back over to you. "This is a recount of all the recent security breaches since we've had Stalkers in this Mew-forsaken city," she tells you, although you find her comment about Mew to be a little ironic. "Crime has gone up nineteen percent since they came here. That's a crime in itself." She closes the app and returns the tablet in the blink of an eye before coming back again. "I'm working double shifts after...our...recent officer..." She pauses. "...Fell. We haven't recruited anyone else yet, so I'm covering all of the open shifts. Well, not all, but most of them. My point is, I need you to handle something for me."

"Around the city, you'll find ten security feeds ranging from cameras to computers containing vital information on various locations and their current security. I need you to hack each one and find me Security Data Modules. There'll be one in each location; some require people who specialise in Security and some requite Science knowledge. You'll find four in Silvercoal City East and six in the western part. After you give me the first five, I can offer you a Rawst Berry, and after I've got ten, I'll give you an Aspear Berry."

MISSION OPENED: Find x10 [Security Data Module].
Reward: x1 [Rawst Berry], x1 [Aspear Berry]

"I know it's a bit of an ask, but this information could really help increase security in the city. It'll also make our jobs a whole lot easier, here at the police department. Take as much time as you need, but don't wait too long... This could save lives." She gives you a pat on the head and nods to you once, offering you a wide smile of hope. "I look forward to hearing from ya!"

Fern flits away once more, getting back to work.

The chemical smell of plastic entered through your beak as you peer into the second floor of the Javelin Manufacturing Plant. The instructions were relatively clear: find the security station and hack the camera. You take a short walk through the second floor, ensuring that your fluffiness does not snare on any pointed equipment as you walk by. It's easy to find the security room, so you approach it in the relative darkness and creak open the door.

Upon peering inside, you can see an obvious security panel on the old-looking computer station. It may not be obvious to some people, but with you advanced knowledge of security, you're able to spot it immediately. You approach it and key in a few things which brings up the screen which grants you access to the security camera footage. You're unsure which camera is going to give you the information Pormalu informed Olea about, so you use your skills to access each one on this floor. When you come upon the fourth one, #13, you can instantly tell it's what you want.

The console screen shows you the distant but easily discernible form of an Archeops working away at their station on this floor. The timestamp down the bottom reads 44:43:50, but you know from the phone log that Pormalu gave to Olea that the time you're looking for isn't until 44:44:15. For the following twenty-three seconds, you watch the Archeops working away until they abruptly stop, pulling out what looks to be a phone from their apron. Two seconds later the dual type answers, and the timestamp down the bottom reads 44:44:15, just as the phone log does. A few seconds into the call, you can tell by their body language that the Archeops is clearly frightened and begins to panic. The Pokémon then dashes away from their station and out of the camera's range. You frown, tapping into a different camera which overlooks the entrance to Floor 2, and go to the appropriate time. The Archeops, surely enough, is seen speeding out of the doorway and presumably makes their way into the stairwell.

You're not quite sure what to make of this, so you close the feed and access one of the exterior cameras. You wait a few seconds until finally the Archeops comes into view at the bottom of the screen and speeds along the pathway leading away from the building, then disappears from the camera's view. You know this is not enough to tell you anything, but before you can dig deeper, a separate window suddenly flashes in your face.

    ASSOCIATED REPORT ATTACHED. OPEN?

    YES / NO

Figuring this is the only way you can gather more information about this incident, you select "Yes" and wait until a document expands on the screen. You spend a few minutes reading the whole thing, and although you know that this isn't a report you can legally take with you, you'll be able to recite the incident for your teammates. You go over the information once again.

Dominique the Archeops left her place of work one hour and fifteen minutes before she was scheduled to finish her shift after receiving a phone call at 44:44:15 from her friend Rusco, who was a Primeape. The phone calls have since been listened to by authorities and were confirmed legitimate. Dominique explained to police that her friend must have been on his way to visit her on her shift to surprise her, when he was suddenly attacked on the street by the Stalker known as Philter.

He managed to make a call to her, and she was able to reach him before he died due to his close location less than a block down the street. According to her recount, the scene was horrifying; Rusco was screaming in pain and terror, clutching his temples as blood began to seep from his eyes, ears and mouth. She called the police and remained with him while the police were on their way, but did not reach them before Rusco's brain was entirely devoured by the seed that Philter had implanted in him. He was found by police with tendrils poking out of his body in various places.

Dominique's identity was kept secret, known only to the Chief of Police, Pormalu the Arcanine. The other officers on the scene were sworn to secrecy for their own safety and for the safety of Dominique. Mere hours later was when Satia, the Manectric police officer, was also targeted and killed by Philter. Coincidentally, she was one of the officers who arrived on the scene that night. The only other piece of information that stuck out to you was Rusco's last words, which Dominique alone was around to hear. He was screaming repeatedly that a Maractus had implanted seeds into his head. He died before he could give any further details.

You carry this information with you in your head as you shut everything off and ensure that no trace of your activity was left behind.

You didn't depress me too much, Wador, don't worry. My journey's just starting... Well, moving on then.

I'd have told him how I've been through things like this before, but in case they were possessed, it could tip them off to our mission... Anywho, I'm going to both protect 3. Udipheign the Drifblim from things and protect non-obvious stalkers and assailants from him. Even if it gets me punched from two sides or punched in the face twice. Gonna have to try hard to not tell him that he's a handful, though, if he is one.
