Earlier today, I noticed that the forums were operating much more slowly than normal (>5 seconds), and as a result, we removed code that was causing this problem.

If you notice that the forums are operating excruciatingly slow, please let someone in the staff know. Load times should not take more than a few seconds (<5 seconds) on a decently fast connection. :)
