You decide to join the others for a Sanity-restoration slumber party. It's a calm night out and you feel it should help you feel better when the morning comes. You find you're not the only one that has been on the business end of the Sanity-attacking effects of the dark handicraft the Enthrallers like to employ.

You rest up and allow yourself to peacefully drift off to sleep. You feel you're getting close now, but for now, you let peace and tranquility take over where the mind-eating shadows used to be.

Julia has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

As time goes on, your battle with OBSESS feels more and more like just a memory that no longer makes you shiver.

I'm going to give this nice [Dinner Candle] a blessing to get a nice set of three going! Then I'll see if this [Blue Fur] leads to anything in particular. Also, I'm taking a break from cooking tonight! Instead I'm whipping out the ice cream I've been keeping in the freezer!

EDIT: Nix that, going for the [Black Feather] instead for this one!
Working through the night, Tashy focuses on purifying the once-neglected dinner candle to make it holy and prepare it for the Sin Purge Ritual. After a good while, the Seinaru fully charges the candle with a holy essence and it begins to glow.

[Dinner Candle] has become [Blessed Dinner Candle].

Once the blessing process on the candle is complete, she then proceeds to screen the Black Feather to see if there is a hidden, dark essence upon it that traces it back to a Stalker. She spends a good while at it, knowing Enthrallers are typically careful to make sure it isn't so obvious, but after spending a long time at it, nothing turns up.

Pokémon Sample [Black Feather] does NOT belong to a Stalker. It has been removed from the Team Inventory.

Not taking any chances with these Stalkers, especially since the Emissaries have been driving deep into their lairs lately, you decide to rest up and carefully prepare for whatever might come next.

You join the other Emissaries as they rest to refresh themselves from the dark influences that the Stalkers have laid upon Southwarren. There's no telling what the team might encounter next, but you all want to be ready for it. But for now, you decide to continue resting. Sleep and time is helping you forget the horrors of your fight with RttnCrps, but still keep the experience of destroying an Enthraller with your Exorcism power fresh in your mind. You have a feeling it won't be the last time, either.

Quincy has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

The traumatizing memories of your battle with RttnCrps have faded. What you have kept, however, is your knowledge, skill, and experience in knowing exactly what you need to do to strike these Enthrallers down forevermore. When the morning comes, you'll now be fully ready for whatever comes.

Interview Britera the Braixen to learn Escort/Protect.
Tonight, you decide to seek out Britera and learn some protective skills from her. Seeing as how it was very helpful when it came to defending Tashy from Kanja while she was under the influence of RttnCrps, you wonder if the need for that might come up again.

You find Britera at the police station, still trying to piece together the loose ends from the Stalker investigation. It seems she's been at it for a while, but when she sees you and you request to learn protection training from her, she happily agrees.

"All for it!" Britera tells you with a smile. "I need a break from looking at this stuff. After a while it all begins to blur together and it's hard to focus, so this should be good to do in the meantime."

She trains you quickly and swiftly, cutting out the introductory details and focuses on the most important components of how to keep on overwatch and how best to recognize the sounds of an intruder versus simple bumps in the night or disturbances caused by wind. A great deal of her training also deals with using the environment, knowing your surroundings, and making sure your client minimizes risks, such as avoiding open windows and places where you might lose visual on them. Her training also deals with how best to remain hidden to ambush a would-be attacker, how to move silently, and how to be aware of where your client is and what they are doing.

Britera's training also deals with how to best convince another skilled Pokémon on using their knowledge and expertise toward accomplishing objectives. Britera likes the approach of asking skilled professions how good their think their skill is and then propose your task them to see if they're really that good. As she tells you, most Pokémon then see it as a challenge to prove themselves and they'll do it.

At the end of the many hours of training, you feel this was a great use of time and Britera definitely knows her stuff. You feel confident in your new abilities and ready to take on the task of being a protector.

Congratulations! Hope the Alolan Vulpix now knows the Escort/Protect ability!

You also feel pretty tired at the end of the training. At least for a little while, it has gotten your mind off of what happened at the Tolbin House. Maybe after all this, you should be able to sleep easier.

Hope the Alolan Vulpix (S: Ice)

You decide to rest tonight with the others as they all prepare to refresh themselves in the wake of some of the other horrors that they have witnessed in their own ways.

The best is comfortable tonight, and you find it easier to sleep than to try and keep fighting off the twitching and the constant watching of shadows that you have been impulsively doing. Meanwhile, it seems like the spirit of the Eevee has taken a liking to you, and while it disturbed you at first and made you twitchy, you're slowly getting used to it and it doesn't quite seem as bad as you originally thought.

Rusty O'Toole has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

You feel a little better when you wake up, but there are still those voices in your head and you're sure not all of them are from your Eevee spirit companion. Meanwhile, there are sometimes shadows on the wall that move in strange ways and slight tingling feelings on your fur despite nothing being there. You wonder if it might be a good idea to use some more time to recover fully.

Btw I think I should be on 3 sanity in the first post now :)
(Fixed! I've gotten into the bad habit of pressing Cancel when I should be pressing save!)

Though Tashy was expecting Eric to show up, she's perfectly happy to see you too and she's more than happy to share her ice cream with you. You see the brand is Fluffy Cloud Ice Cream, which seems like it comes straight from Utopia itself. Tashy smiles to you when she says it just wouldn't be Utopia if they didn't have their own ice cream.

#45 Tashy the Furret will be defended against all Stalker attacks for this Night Cycle.

After you enjoy a little break with Tashy, you then keep a firm lookout while she works tonight on the Sin Purge Ritual components and the sample screening. If a Stalker does come tonight, they'll never see you waiting there until it's too late.
