You decide to rest some more tonight, still feeling a bit mentally worn from the Bloodwish exorcism. While bits of the incident are still fresh in your mind and sometimes you feel like you can still hear the shouts and screams of the children, they've started to calm down and you remind yourself that none of those kids were hurt that night.

You lean back, relax on the mattress, rest your head gently on the pillow, and pull the blankets up to your chin. It's a calm night tonight and you just feel it in the air that everything is going to be all right as you drift off to sleep.

Tomorrow, things will be better and you're looking forward to those moments.

Tonight, you both train together in learning the essentials about how to best escort and protect Pokémon from all kinds of dangers. Seeing as how it helped Eric save Tashy's life, you understand why it's important and you begin the same training that Hope did just days before. As before, Britera is more than happy to teach the both of you.

Britera's training may be quick and only takes one night, but it's intense and she doesn't waste an ounce of time. She teaches you both everything about situational awareness, understanding the environment, understanding how to cover for the one you're trying to protect, and then understand the thought process behind those that would be out to attack your victim. Seeing as how she has more students to work with, she has you both understanding the roles of all three parties involved and while Lita takes one role, Rusty takes another, Britera takes the third, and you all take turns rotating to get a feel for what it's like to be in all three positions during a hypothetical attack. Understanding the attacker, understanding the potential victim, and understanding the bodyguard helps give you both much greater insight as to what you can do to prepare for this situation. By role-playing all three roles, you both feel a much better understanding of how to protect a victim and be the best bodyguard you can be.

Lastly, Britera trains you on how to influence a Pokémon to lend their skills and assist with various tasks, an essential part of Britera's career where she might need the help of a professional in the field when it comes to police work. When there's little time to act, making these professionals understand the urgency behind their assistance and the importance of it is at the forefront of the training. You feel one day, these skills are bound to be useful and could very well save lives.

Congratulations! Lita the Pikachu and Rusty O'Toole the Lucario now know the Escort/Protect ability!

Both of you are tired at the end of the training, but you feel as though you've accomplished a lot and made excellent use of the evening. You both head back and discuss what you've learned and experienced on the way to the Emissary base.

She's happy to see you and she already has a very delicious and divine-smelling maple cinnamon sugar cake baking in the oven. When she pulls it out and begins cutting slices with a nice hot cup of cocoa for you to enjoy, you feel like you're just OUTRIGHT ROBBING ERIC of delicious food tonight!

Despite the warnings from the others, Enis made this personal. You don't care about the "safe" method. You don't care about the danger. This ends tonight, and it's going to be done by your hand or it's not going to be done at all.

You learn that Shin the Chimecho isn't an easy Pokémon to track, but it's not impossible. She murdered Lexin, the Chief of Police, and for you, that's unacceptable. When you find her, you see her sulking and muttering to herself at the abandoned Jayberry School in what used to be her teaching classroom. Even just looking at her makes you feel an aura of self-loathing and destruction.

You open the door and it's just you and her. Nothing but an empty classroom, no witnesses, no watching eyes, just you and her carrying out one more battle between Utopia and Abyss.

    The hidden war carries on.

This ends tonight, and it's going to be done by my hand or it's not going to be done at all.

"Who... who are you?" she asks, turning to face you.

"Your undoing," you tell her in a strong voice as your hands ignite with white, blazing flames.

And it certainly doesn't take long before she laughs and lets what looks like all of the nightmares of the world loose. The already dark room gets even darker, but you could care less if it got darker than pitch black. OBSESS tried a similar stunt and you know where that ultimately got her.

The white flames begin their incineration on Enis even as she's splitting into swarms of snake and bat-like suicidal shadows of agony. You realize Enis is an Enthraller just slathered with feelings of self-destruction and now you witness firsthand what Lexin, Eric, and all the others must have been feeling when they were feeling this for themselves. It closes in around you and though there is no escape from the influence, you just let it fuel your fire.

    The shadows surround you and creep in, and p͖̟̭̺͍̋̓̀̊̓̌̐ͅl̑ͮ͛̔̓ͮ͜u̯̮ͮ̈̽͊̋͠n̼̮͆ͫg͚̯͍͉̳͚ͣ͆ͯ̂͟eͭ ͫ̃͏̥͎̯̙̬̺̜ ̘̖͙ͯ̑͗ͤt̛̺̯̦h̺̗̜̗̹͓͙ei̜̬̹̪͆̔r̵̫̗͚̱̜̔̅̏̄͌͆ͩ ͦ̕w͚̲̫͇̱̬̹͛͒̂ͦͣ͐͝a̘̳̖̙ͭ̊ȳ̃̏ͪ͏̗͖͖̜ ̸̗͖͕̯͓̺̘ͭ͗̄͛̌̉̃i̼ͪ͆̇̋̿͟n̸̞̎̎ẗ́͒o̼̜̤̙ͥ͂ͪ́ͅ ̫͖͉͎̫̍͜y͖̰͉̥͔͍͍o̭͙̠̙͌ͪ͛̀u̞͇͎̱̙̲̅̀̓ͩ͌̅̀ṟ̳ͩͤ̃̒ ̮̞̝̺͇̜̏ͯ̏ͭ͛͆m͍͕̻̫͔̦̃ͨͭͣͤ͋ͤi͂̆̈ͤ̔̓ͧn̖̣̯ͩͪ̓͊̋ͤ̚dͨͯ̂͠ ̼͇̭.͙̰̱̥́ͦ̾̚̚.̧̱͊ͯͨͪ͆.͔̤̫̪͇̥̣̈͆̏ͤ

Julia has suffered 1 Damage to Sanity.

...But you refuse to give in.

You repeat it to yourself over and over again. As the shadows in your mind bite, taunt, and harass you, you say the words...

This ends tonight, and it's going to be done by my hand or it's not going to be done at all.

"YoU WilL RiP yoURselF tO Ṣ̝͎̺̜̱̳h͇͉̣̻̰̜̼R̜̹ę͕̪̘͇̫d̙͙̱̫̻S̟̩̱̙ bEfoRe ThiS niGhT iS OveR!!!" Enis hisses and laughs as you from all directions.

"Come here and make me!" you challenge her.

You let the fury fuel the fire even further, and from your clawed hands, you throw all your power into these blazing, white, exorcism fireballs that burn and purge the wicked and abysmal shadows of evil that Enis has turned herself into. By now, the classroom is in complete disarray. The windows break and a rain of glass fragments bathe the room and scatter around the laminate floor. The desks are splintered into nothing but woodchips and the metal desk frames and chairs are reduced to twisted, misshapen heaps.

You dart around the classroom to evade her strikes. Another one of Enis's shadows of corruption narrowly misses you and slams ferociously into a bookshelf, sending burning page embers in all directions and papers flying about the room like a swarm of deranged, angry bats.

The room goes dark again, and you feel like you lose your place, but you fight on. The white fire is growing brighter, and while it becomes difficult to detect Enis's exact location, you know to just follow what the flames are consuming. You've marked the target and you just need to carry out the elimination.

"GlAdlY," she hisses into your ear.

Your vision goes dark for just but a moment, and for just one horrifying second, you witness your own bodily destruction in a hideous, gory explosion. Pieces... of yourself... surrounding you. It screams a̡͙͓̤̼̣̙̟ll͔̥̤̤̬ ̀h̴̪̺̤̱͇e̵̱͎̗l̲̹̹̬͔̼͘ͅḷ̙̹͘ ̜͇̲̮̳̣̲i͙̦͇̯ͅn̪̗̣̜͈̞t̞̬͍͚o̯̺͓ ̦͓͉̻y̼̙̭̣͡o̢̩͇̗̗̫u͔̼̗̠̦̖r̳̱̟͝ ͡ṃ͈͕i̧̮̣̼͔͉ͅͅn̬͝d̷̤̪̤ and for a brief moment, it feels like e҉͍̳v̞̪̙́e̵̫̱r̪̙̺̬͢y̵̰̯t̪̺͖̫͕͉̖h̢̥̮̰͕i҉̞̺̘̞͔n̸͓g̯̝ ̤̺͚ ̥̩͖̥͖w͓͎̣̦̳͚̩i̤̦̮̖l̺͇͇̖͚l̤̟ ̮͔̫̲̻̯̱b̰̭̱̮ȩ͖̞ ͙̳͓ͅc̮̣ơ̝͍n̸̻s̷͇͓̖͎̣͎ùm̴̻̙̠̯e̷d̻̖͈̙̰.̟͓͙͟

Julia has suffered 2 Damage to Sanity.

But you remind yourself it's just a vision. Just an illusion. It never actually happens and it's just the work of Enis. Nothing more. The shadows scream in your head, the wrights are taunting you, but you remind yourself. You say the words again.

This ends tonight, and it's going to be done by my hand or it's not going to be done at all.

You unleash your blazing strike again, and the exorcism flames flare up and surround the ravaged room with a purifying glow. Your light and the shadows of her self-loathing are locked in a savage battle, but you are the field commander and your will is law. Nothing is to stop this judgment from being carried out.

The shadows of Enis hunger, but you ensure your fire makes them starve before they suffer. The white fires are closing in on Enis, and already they have made headway toward turning Enis's otherworldly body into a destroyed husk of a spirit. The winds and the hurricane of nightmare shadows surrounds you, but you stand firm against it like a boulder in a gale. Unmoving. Unyielding. Adamant and still fighting. The way it's supposed to be. The way it will always be.

You continue to fight as Enis is now fully ignited, and soon there will be nothing left of her to save. Her scream is in vain. She tries to curse you, but the fire has already eaten away her tongue, and she is forever silenced. She reaches out, but her wicked, crooked hands have already burnt away as her stumps continue to burn to bits. As her body burns away, the eyes are the last to go. And judgment has decided that she can only watch helplessly as the will of the light is carried out. Before she becomes nothing.

    And she becomes nothing.

What remains of Enis detonates into a white-ember explosion that scatters fragments of white fire and light in all directions. And like that, all that remains of Enis is just the name. Just the name.

You look up and the placid soul of Shin the Chimecho floats before you. She seems relieved in more ways than one. Her Enthraller is forever destroyed, and the agony of the life of depression she lived is gone. For once, she seems happy, but in a way that almost makes it seem like this feeling seems so foreign to her.

"It's... finally... it's over..." Shin sighs, having longed for this for years. "It's been... I can't... say..."

She doesn't know how to put the words together, and it seems like she doesn't want to try and explain it anymore. She simply bows to you respectfully.

"Thank you... so... so much for this," Shin tells you as she is soon carried away to the world above. "It... it will be over soon..."

She lifts up into a serine portal to the clouds, and when it closes, you look back down and there's nothing left besides the ravaged classroom and the remains of the battle's aftermath.

"Done by my hand," you smile as you stand up.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

With Cev's final goodbye note in your hands, you arrive at Fen's apartment and the Linoone opens the door. When she sees the flowers, you can tell from the look in her eyes that she now knows what you're here for.

You offer your condolences and you explain what exactly happened to Cev. You also show her the note and she reads it with trembling paws. She realizes there was a fair chance this note never would have made it to her given what happened with the elevator, but in a way, it has given her peace of mind.

"I..." Fen tells you, struggling to speak. "I... I want to... to thank you. I hope... I just hope he's... he's in a better place now. That... that there is a good place... for Pokémon like him."

Knowing there is such a place for good-hearted Pokémon called Utopia gives you comfort as you know it is likely Cev is there now, simply waiting for her. But for a moment, it's as if you can feel Cev's presence, telling Fen to live out the rest of her life and make it as happy as it can be, for the days of forever can simply wait for tomorrow. But you decide to keep this sacred mystery to yourself, as Fen will see it for herself someday.

"I.. I would have... liked to say goodbye... you know?" Fen weeps a bit. "Just... just five more seconds to do that. It would mean everything."

You nod, but in truth, it wouldn't be a true goodbye. Just a simple "see you tomorrow." That "forever tomorrow."

You tell her to remain strong, and to never forget the good Pokémon that Cev is. She feels some comfort in your presence, and you feel it in your heart that you've given Fen the peace of mind she needs. She doesn't need to keep searching, doesn't need to keep worrying, or keep crying wondering why Cev never made it hope. She just needs to be ready for that tomorrow and she'll see him once again.

When I was just a small Sentret girl, I always had dreams of being an artist. Wild, crazy, amazing dreams! Always creating something others could enjoy and hopefully find cool and beautiful. Boy did I try, even when I didn't know what I was really doing! But I always felt I was destined for something big and I looked far and wide for support and new inspiration.

The adventures started off small, but I always wanted to go a little farther each time. No matter how many times I was knocked down or ridiculed, I got back up and kept going. Because I knew even when I was younger that dreams aren't reached overnight!

I thought the Enthraller "Undone" came from another realm and that she could help me reach that dream, but I was wrong about her and I became aware of the facts when it was too late. Yup, Undone was a deceiver straight from Abyss, and at the time, I just thought they were stories. It was a living nightmare to see and feel Undone use my body and my voice like she was my puppet master while my soul could only watch! And the way she made me trick Prat made me so... so sick. The look in his eyes when he couldn't understand. I wanted to shout and warn him, but I couldn't...

But that nightmare is over. When I learned the true nature of what I went through and what others are still fighting, I stepped up to join the good fight. Even when Daz, Saps, Millie, and all the others wanted nothing to do with Enthrallers ever again, I stepped up, even though I couldn't blame them for what those Enthrallers put us through.

I had to make sure others are freed from this evil and they no longer have to go through what I went through. I trained, worked, and did whatever I could in Utopia to convince them to let me have my chance. To show them all I could be something more and I'm going to keep doing just that!

And I realized this was the something big I was destined for. Not paintings, not sculptures, and not stuff like that. I'm working miracles now!

Undone, you never stopped me and you never brought me down! And now look at what I've become!

A Sin Purge Ritual for two. I was actually expecting to do more than this, but I'm happy to help any way I can! I can't help but break a smile. Everything I've learned is finally getting its chance to shine.

I draw the Sin Purge Circle on the floor using my paw and laying the Seinaru markings on the pattern, making a diamond shape as I put the two blessed porcelain bowls filled with holy water on the points. The whole circle begins to glow, and it's always an amazing sight to behold. This war isn't over, but we're winning one battle and a time, and it will forever be an honor to know I'm a part of it!

I then take the Beige Fur and place the strands into the first bowl, and then place the Gray Skin flakes in the second. Wherever you are, Overkill and Nhils, you'd better start panicking, because these are coming for you! And I know what that's like from personal experience!

I then place the blessed Festival Candle and the blessed Holiday Candle in the bowls, submerging their bases in the holy water. They're now connected to the Sin Purge Circle, and they glow just a bit brighter. I'm almost shaking in anticipation, but I gotta keep my cool!

Next, I grab the Blessed Ceremonial Blowtorch. Man, this thing is cool! As I press the trigger, the thing is almost a flamethrower of holy fire! I go ahead and light the blessed candles and now my whole apartment is practically a lighthouse!

And then close my eyes, hold out my paws, and smile. The light is growing brighter, and the Seinaru is just blazing from my paws! Let's make this happen!

"I stand before the beacon of the judgment," I cry out with a smile. "A holy fire upon each of these blessed markers! Standing lit in a pure basin of clean purity, with the essence of the wicked below to stand judgment for their crimes. Holy cleansing fire! Purge the wickedness from our world! Seek out the unholy traitors whose essences lie before us and render the punishment they are due!"

    "So be it."

With that summoning, a great, beam of light surged from the Sin Purge Circle that Tashy had made, and from it charged forward two divine fireballs of blazing, white, holy fire. Suddenly, the skies above Southwarren were lit with their light. While the citizens did not know what it was for certain, there was a presence to it that assured them the darkness had lost this battle. That after weeks of misery, death, and watching their once prosperous industrial town fall apart around them, this was their answer.

And they saw their reply in the skies. They heard the response in the roar of the flames.

The first of the two fireballs targeted and sped toward Nhils, residing in the body of Ferghus the Machoke. As the gray, muscular Pokémon had been standing in the open streets, he looked up and knew this was intended for him. For just a moment as he saw the white judgment fireball speeding toward him, Ferghus managed to wrestle control of his own body against Nhils's own will.

"I knew all along you wouldn't win," Ferghus spoke, straining a smile as he knew Nhils had nowhere to run now.

The white fireball collided with his body, smothering it with cleansing, purging fire that wholly eradicates all traces of Nhils forever. Nothing would ever hear the Enthraller's wails from the void, and with the evil destroyed, Ferghus found himself now as a spirit with his own free will once again.

[i]"Thanks for having my back," Ferghus salutes the skies before rising up into them.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

It was then that the second of the fireballs had sought out the final remaining Enthraller. And that last Enthraller was all that stood in their way of freeing Southwarren and Barendal from the clutches of Abyss.

There was no running for them now. There was only defeat, failure, and the decision of justice. And it had been decided.

The second fireball directed itself toward Overkill, inhabiting the body of Yandil the Smeargle. Just as Yandil had been sneaking behind the gas station to "borrow" the sledgehammer he had killed so many Pokémon with, he looked up and knew it was over. And Yandil, having been suppressed for so long in his own body, couldn't help but sigh in relief.

"I'm sure not going to miss you..." Yandil muttered, closing his eyes and accepting what was to come.

The fireball then struck down, surrounding the Smeargle with purging fire that annihilated the evil within him. There was nothing left of Overkill to save. All that remained was just the name and no evidence the dark Enthraller even existed in the first place. It would only be a short matter of time before Overkill suffered that final, ultimate death. Being completely forgotten.

Yandil, now freed from the shackles of his enslavement to Overkill, was free and finally able to rest from all the tribulations he had faced. He opened himself and allowed to be taken to the skies. He was looking forward to set aside work for a while and finally have a moment to enjoy the many other remarkable things that eternity had to offer.

    CONGRATULATIONS!
The Stalker "Overkill" has been eliminated. Southwarren has found salvation.

    7/7 Stalkers Eliminated.

The veils of shadows surrounding the industrial town were gone, and though they had never met before, the Pokémon of Southwarren shared a connection with the Pokémon in Serenity Town, many stars away in Aryia. Abyss had suffered yet another crippling loss and it proved to them that where there is hope and Pokémon willing to band together to bring down a common enemy, they will fail, they will be pushed back, and all their horrors, nightmares, and shadows will be thrown down with them. To Abyss, Barendal would go down as a failure, and they would never strike there ever again.

As the light faded down just ever so slightly, the Sin Purge Ritual was over. Tashy the Furret once again opened her eyes and smiled.

"Now that," she smiles proudly, "is definitely a job well done!"

However, she realizes with her work upon Barendal completed, she needs to return to Utopia and prepare for her next mission. Though she will have her time to rest, she knows it won't be for long, and due to her own choices of wanting to quickly get back to fighting the good fight.

"Looks like this is it, guys," Tashy tells the Emissaries. "All of you did great and none of us could have done it without you!"

The light soon envelops her, and she's unable to hold back a tear of joy. But before she returns to Utopia, she tells you something she hopes will find home in your hearts.

"Always believe in yourselves and you can do anything!" she smiles to you all as she enters the light. "And stay wild and free, wherever you go, now and forever!"

And like that, she is taken back to her new home in Utopia, ever so restless and ready for more worlds to find and save.

    * * *

In the weeks to come after Tashy had returned to Utopia and the Emissaries had returned home to the world of humans, Southwarren would rise up once again. The town's struggling industries would survive and those that had fled for their lives would soon return and bring prosperity back to a town that had nearly been lost in the darkness. Many of the Pokémon that had left were able to come back to work, and there were many that claimed the bitterness that Rancha once had seemed to fade as she saw for herself a city once fallen come back to life once again.

After the funeral for Lexin the Flygon, Chief of Police for Southwarren, Britera the Braixen was appointed by Rancha to be the new Chief of Police. Under her command, Southwarren has been safe and free from looting and vandalism that would have continued to occur in the wake of the Stalker incidents. Thanks to Britera's efforts, Southwarren is now cleaner, safer, and continues to strive toward a better tomorrow. To this day, she still trains new recruits in the art of protecting others and ensuring the safety of the innocent.

After the death of Vessi the Golduck, the Simple Pleasures Diner was forced to close down, but Cray the Ludicolo was determined to try and start a new restaurant under the same name to help bring back the comforting and welcoming atmosphere that many of the Pokémon in the town enjoyed. While it is new and has taken on a new look, Cray rehired many members of the staff that had worked at the original diner. Cray also keeps a picture of Vessi on the wall and though it reminds him of the good old days, he knows each day to come can be just as good as well.

Fen the Linoone, though grieved about the loss of her husband, came to terms that what had happened was an unfortunate accident, but Cev's last words to her will live forever in her heart. Though she wishes she could have seen him alive one last time, she knows he is in a better place now, away from the horrors and pains that so many others have had to endure.

Distraught at the loss of his research, Murod's lost hard drive was never recovered and instead, Silverdike profited from his hard work and made millions. Even though many lives were saved, Murod never got the acclaim he deserved and instead lived on to see his life's work never attributed to him and all the effort he put into making it possible. Shortly after the Emissaries had left Southwarren, Murod had recently given up being a research scientist.

Vasha, relieved to have gotten her mother's medication and to pay for her life-saving surgery thanks to the help of the Emissaries, was able to help her mother make a full recovery from her sickness. She doesn't know what she could have done without their help and for that, Vasha and her mother are forever grateful to the Emissaries for what they were able to do for them.

Though your time in Bardendal has come to an end, the fight still goes on. The hidden war is not over and there will be others that need to have hope and justice renewed, but for now, take comfort in knowing out there, a world of Pokémon will live on, safe, free, and no longer burdened by the darkness they once had to fight through.

    All because of you.
