Ireland or Latin America sound like interesting places to Pokemonize.

Latin America could be interesting since they have a lot of animal based mythology that could be converted in pokémon. Ireland or the UK in general could also be good especially since I've been researching a lot of Celtic lore lately. Africa could also be interesting since it gets specifically mentioned in the early pokemon games so it could provide a connection to mew and other lore if we wanted to connect it to other regions.

We could also take from some of the examples Mr. Buddy has done in the past.

Not to mention we still have a lot of Japan left to cover...

The Levant region could be interesting since it’s been part of many different empires so we could have something akin to “Alolan pokemon” if we went with that.

This is great! Everyone's ideas are all very interesting. I'll turn this into a discussion thread. When we've decided on any specifics for anything, I'll create us some threads for them or something. We could end up with quite a few threads if we want to keep this organised to maybe in the future a subforum might help but for now it's fine.

I personally would like a Latin America/Africa based region. I think we would have quite a bit of creative freedom there. Another could be Australia too. They have some very strange animals that we could try to pokemonize and stuff.

Ooh yeah that could be interesting. I still think my vote would go with Ireland but it'd probably be best to put it to a vote.

Poll is up and i've put all the suggestions that people have said so far. You may vote for one and i'll close it maybe in 2 days and then we have our area we base our region off. Then it's down to the name and some pokemon ideas. :)
