So as we all know, a new Smash Bros game got announced last month! And while the returning and new characters or stages is often at the forefront of people's minds, I felt like drawing attention the other great part of Smash, the music! Combining classic fan favorites, and making fantastic remixes, I find Smash's soundtrack is often overlooked.

Now, I'm sure we all have some tracks we'd love to see in Smash, so why don't we all share for the pleasure of our ears.



So while doing some quick research, I found no variation of this track in any of the Smash games. These Battle theme can be traced all the way back to Johto, being the Champion Theme, shared by both Lance and Red. While the version from HGSS is still my favorite, The version from Sun and Moon is an easy second, and I think would fit Smash Bros, with a slow intro that immediately kicks into high gear with a quick pace and retaining what made it great, as well as adding in some Alola flare. So yeah, I think this is just one of those tracks that I can just easily see myself fighting to.
