Magequest - A Text-and-Image Adventure

~MAGEQUEST~

Greetings, one and all. Welcome to Magequest, an adventure that involves Mages and other fantasy things! Its format will be based off of Homestuck, i.e., an image and text. However, that is not all: for YOU, the reader(s), will submit commands for the hero(es) to follow! However, there are a few rules as to what sort of rules you can submit.

1. Do NOT submit any vulgar or inappropriate commands.

2. Try to have the command relate to the previous panel.

3. Do not spam-submit commands.

4. Try to avoid making your command to lengthy; make it short and to the point whenever possible.

5. Pay attention to CAPITALIZED WORDS.

Please follow those rules. Also, as for updating the adventure (i.e., drawing the panels), I will try to do it three to four times a week. Also, feel free to leave critique, but please make it distinctly separated from the command. Now, here we go!

A young, aspiring MAGE is standing in his Bedchamber. He has recently moved in, so there is not much to it as of yet. However, there is currently a MAGIC CHEST in the far left corner, and a DOORWAY leading into the corridor outside.

What will this MAGE do?

The young MAGE inspects his MAGIC CHEST. Inside, is the MAGE's APPRENTICE'S WAND! This was gifted to the MAGE by the powerful ARCHMAGE, which is also the MAGE's tutor. However, it seems like the CHEST is still not empty.

KEEP CHECKING THIS CHEST. ouo

The checking persists. Inside the CHEST, are several interesting ARTIFACTS. They include a PILE OF ANTIQUE WANDS. The MAGE fondly regards them, as he enjoys collecting ANTIQUE WANDS. Next to that is a SMALL SACK OF GOLD. But who cares about that? That huge dark book is THE GRAND WARLOCK'S TOME OF THE DARK ARTS, which is a manual describing all sorts of horrid, eldritch magics. Most Mages avoid the dark arts like the Plague, but you have a secret fascination for them. Most people would call that unhealthy, so you tend to keep it a secret.

...Well, it wouldn't hurt to take a look... But, this is a secret! You had to go through all sorts of HORRIBLE TRIALS to get this thing! If you wanted to read it, you would do it when you aren't busy. Speaking of, there is a MAGIC LESSON today! The MAGE should hurry up before he is late.
