You won't know about it unless you're Cybertronian. And even then, only a few actually know.

Caminus was one of the first Metrotitans made by the Knights of Cybertron to act as a living ship. Left Cybertron to colonize new worlds, eventually settled down and used the hot spot inside of him to pretty much make a whole new civilization of Cybertronians.
