Flying High
This is one of my first attempts at poetry, so I'm sorry if it's not very good. But hopefully it's not totally crap!
Flying High
Above the fields of Hyrule
Flies Zelda on her lavender unicorn
With her golden hair flowing in the breeze
And her unicorn's tail gently navigating behind.
Her crystal blue eyes, perpetually alert and loving,
Survey her vast land below
As she gazes fondly on the kingdom
Her father entrusted to her care.
Zelda's heart swells with pride
As she continues her journey
And sees her people happy and working hard
And the landscape lush with new spring grass.
As long as she lives, Zelda vows,
She will do all she can to protect her lovely land.
And with her faithful unicorn perpetually by her side,
She will be able to do just that.

your turn to roll
Nicely written. C: I haven't played many Zelda games but she doesn't have a unicorn to my knowledge. Was that a part you made up? <:
I liked the poem, although I would advise against the use of "perpetually" twice. Maybe "forever by her side" would work better. :] There wasn't really a flow to it, which I found a little jarring. Free verse is like that though, which I imagine this falls under, so with that in mind, I don't think there's any issue here. :] Poetry can be hard, so well done for starting! :D
