I do wonder what crazy tips you'd find in a Trainer's Survival Guide. Maybe a lot of common sense stuff!
Tip 1: Don't fight Pokemon with your fists!
Tip 2: Don't mistreat your own Pokemon!
Tip 3: Don't mistreat your own Pokemon by fighting them with your fists!
I'm sure there are better tips out there.

I have't thought about what might be writen in this book but it could be fun to do some strips about this ahah :D I'll may think about it this summer !
Perhaps something like "Are Oddish eatable in salad ?" or "how to avoid bothering Zubat in caves" ahah :p
