All done! I think. Do tell if things need to be fixed.

    Name: Galen "Eir" Phloros

    Gender: Female

    Species: Mechari

    Age: 30

    Team: The Phoenix Battalion

Description: Towering above most people at 9 feet tall, Galen is an elegant Mechari, where every one of her actions has a purpose. Compared with male Mechari, her face is narrow and angular. Her eyes are light purple, with the appearance of being half-asleep because of her headdress-like forehead. Though they are cast in shadow, they shine with internal lights. Yes, she has eyelids. However they seem rather redundant when her eyes always remain open all the time, earning her the nickname of "Violet" among peers that have seen her moving around in pitch-darkness in the dead of a night. Her "hair" is a mass of medium-length, dark-purple crystals protruding from the back of her head. They are angled backwards, giving the appearance of a mohawk. These crystals glow slightly in the dark as well. In addition to that, Galen also has wing-like, metal mandibles in place of where ears normally are on Angels and Nekos. They move as she speaks, and tends to be quite expressive in comparison to her monotone voice.

With the exception of her headdress-like brow and mandibles, her exoskeleton is a dull, gunmetal blue, seemingly absorbing parts of light whenever she stands in a well-lit area. In areas where it isn't gunmetal blue, a light, cream color is used. Her joints and neck are black in color. The material is strong, holding up well to falls from great heights and weaker magical attacks. To attest to this, Galen has fallen several stories off a building due to an accident and survived without so much as a scratch, though she certainly did feel the pain. On topic of her physical abilities, Galen is able to do a lot of heavy lifting and precision work by herself. Such is one of the advantages of being a Mechari. She is unable to lift extremely heavy objects such as a completely loaded shipping crate, but she's certainly able to move around larger medical equipments.

Despite her lithe body shape, Galen seems a lot larger than she looks because of the large doctor's coat she wears, one of the Healer's older coats when he outgrew them. On the collar is a stitched red cross, signifying her job as a doctor and medic working in the city hospital. Galen has two coats: one is in pristine condition, for use in a more hospital-like setting; the other is tattered and stained with blood and dust, used for when Galen works out in the field. The second coat has seen a lot more use due to the recent civil unrest. Also on her left arm, she wears an armband with a symbol similar to the Rod of Asclepius. Underneath the coat, she wears a woolen sweater, typically with some cute stitched animals in the center. Most days, she wears a black ribbon tied around her neck, especially if she feels that the day will turn out poorly. Galen has no need for shoes, as her hooves are tough enough to handle walking on most surfaces. Also, she wears a messenger bag and gun holster when not working in the hospital.

A quick sketch here: nanan though I'm not very good at this thing. Sorry about that :P

Personality: A pragmatic individual, Galen tends to see the world in black and white, with little gray in between. She's dedicated to her profession as a doctor though her peers say she may be too dedicated. Well, to the point where she treats everyone the same way, regardless of their race or background. A bit of an unusual world-view, especially in these times of conflict and racism. On the other hand, her treatment of others also finds its way into social interactions. Galen dislikes long-winded talks and would rather get to the point when talking about something. Where it would take a normal person minutes to express, she can express it in only a few words. Despite her seemingly aloof demeanor towards strangers and acquaintances, Galen genuinely cares for others to the point where she would gladly dedicate days to staying at the sickbed of a patient to make sure they get through their aliment with the best care possible. This is reflected by her strict adherence to the principles of ethics in medicine to the point where she staunchly refuses to kill and will work to her utmost limit to save a patient if there's even one chance of them living. That doesn't mean she will refuse to harm others if in the long run, it benefited more people. In short, Galen has a deep respect of life and the act of living. Also of note is the fact that Galen does not discriminate based on race or other characteristics, choosing to heal everyone regardless of whether they're her enemies or allies.

While not the best conversationalist, Galen enjoys speaking to other doctors, especially on the subject of healing spells. Her one passion lies with mechanical technology, and she is known for being happy to assist someone in fixing their car or a diagnostic machine or crafting a device needed in the hospital. With her skilled fingers and knowledge, Galen has acquired quite the reputation for her treatments, earning her the nickname of "Eir" or the Valkyrie of Medicine. Despite her skills, people may be unsettled by her monotone voice and lack of inflection, however, close friends are able to divine what she's feeling most of the time.

As a doctor, Galen is knowledgeable, easily identifying injuries and diseases with a single glance. Her encyclopedic knowledge has benefited her here, although it seems to be mainly in anatomy, medicine, and the various variety of healing spells. However, her knowledge also covers the breadth of most magical/technological advances, though she may have a harder time with ideas of philosophy. This knowledge has earned her the nickname of Eir among her peers at the hospital. Galen also has a well-grounded foundation in magic, however, she primarily applies this to Enchantment-style magic.

Background: The first thing Galen has in her database is the night Gabriel created her. The strewn about tools, the crackling snaps of electricity, and the small, stone-like child that stood in front of her with a wrench and a smile. She remembers the initial shock of Gabriel's family as she naturally slotted herself into their lives and their growing appreciation as she watched over Gabriel and his various projects. Since then, she's been charged as Gabriel's caretaker and takes after him in her pursuit of knowledge. She studied medicine and anatomy quickly and was certified as a practicing doctor after only five years of study. She took a comfortable job in the city hospital, taking care to be home as often as possible to make sure that Gabriel could take care of himself.

This is how life goes, until the night Michael arrived in their household. She was the one who disposed of both the male and female Neko's corpse. There was no chance of healing for the male Neko as insects gouged out every exposed skin on his body. As for the female Neko -- the only thing Galen could do was comfort her as she passed on. To each she gave a proper burial, though that night drove home her inability to save everyone. She carried on as usual after that night, with the exception of the shocked Neko child Gabriel decided to adopt. Over time, she came to be fond of him, though interested in a lot of his activity since they seemed to be things Gabriel didn't do. She was non-judgmental about the whole affair at the very least.

With the inclusion of Michael into the family, Galen took it upon herself to make sure that Michael made it through the trauma. And he did, as far as Galen knew. For some reason, her workload had increased to not only taking care of patients that trickle in from the surrounding areas, but also to developing and working on new medical technology. Not to mention, the amount of wounded people coming in from the recent civil wars led to her being called into action as an battlefield medic. Her skills as a doctor trumped many people's bigoted views of the Mechari. Galen came to be viewed as a lifesaver to many with her potent healing spells and expertise, leading to her being split between racing off towards any sort of conflict breaking out nearby and operating in the hospitals.

Galen is currently working with Gabriel and Michael to investigate the Bloodfall. She personally supports the rebuilding of the High Magi Council for being the most stable and proven option based on pre-Bloodfall events. She still offers medical support to those that need it including other teams, for those who pass through the swinging doors of the operating room deserve to be treated. However, she has some suspicions that whatever she's doing is prolonging the power struggle among factions.

    Pokémon:

    [Hippocrates] Blissey (F)
    [Athena] Metagross (NA)
[Fairweather] Lopunny (F) /can Mega-Evolve - Galen carries the Mega Stone on her wrist in bracelet form/
    [Titan] Golurk (M)
    [Tenderhorn] Sawsbuck (F)
    [Kiowa] Ludicolo (M)

    Other:
    • Motorbike - Galen owns a well-maintained motorbike. Since it's one of the earlier models of flying bikes, there's a few hiccups here and there. Over the years, Galen has skills to easily maneuver it in a fight to get to where she want to be. The bike sometimes acts as a living creature, however part of that can be chalked up to the little experiments Galen has done with the bike and Enchantment-type magic over the years. Bikes aren't supposed to be able to spit out fire, are they?
    • Revolver - Galen carries around a single-action revolver, stamped with "Contender", slightly modified to handle the power of the enchanted bullets as they leave the barrel. This is mainly for self-defense and faster treatment, especially in the heart of the conflicts that Galen finds herself in as a medic. Galen is known to be extremely precise with her shots, easily able to hit the same target multiple times in a row.
    • Bullets - If you tried pushing Galen over (good luck, she's heavy), a whole pile of bullets would spill out from the backpack she is carrying. Many of them have a cross inscribed on the bottom of the casing -- those are medical bullets, used primarily to heal someone upon impact. Others have different symbols: flames, ice shards, even a weird puffball-like shape -- and all of these bullets hold some sort of magic. It's rare that Galen would have regular bullets in her bag since all of them are enchanted in some way. Galen calls it a hobby, followed by a modest shrug of her shoulders. Late at night out in the field, small scratching sounds can be heard from her campsite as she works on enchanting the bullets. There are several known types of bullets in her bag:
      • Medical bullets - The strongest type of bullet Galen carries, these can heal anyone from near death to in-the-clear depending on the wounds. When shot from the gun, these bullets usually work the best on battlefield wounds such as gashes and cuts, though it takes a lot more bullets to do something like regrowing limbs.
      • Phase bullets - A rarity in Galen's bag since they don't make these kinds of bullets often, phase bullets have Ghost-typed properties. The bullets are able to pass through one obstacle while in flight, and hit something behind the obstacle. They carry the same velocity as a regular bullet.
      • Explosive bullets - Somewhat common in the bag, these bullets explode on impact. The explosions are much weaker than if they were enchanted by someone with specialization in fire magic, however it would do quite a bit of damage paired up with the velocity of a bullet.
      • Fluffballs - Another common variety, these produce soft piles of fluff upon impact. Common uses include shooting the fluffballs at a wall to create a pad in order to reduce damage from a crash, or at the ground to reduce the damage incurred during a fall. Shooting this variety at people causes them to be covered in fluff.
    • Magic - Galen isn't one to use spells. Fireballs, freezing spells, flight -- those aren't really her thing. Though she has a well-rounded foundation in using magic and is proficient at all kinds of Magitek, Galen prefers using stuff with inherent magic like her bullets to heal others. Following the rules of magic, Galen needs to use a command to release the stored magical power of the bullets, though she can use them with things other than her gun. True to her race, Galen is able to craft exquisite items, though her specialization is in mechanical parts such as for cars, robots, and all sorts of stuff. And seemingly, anything she touches works better than ever. Spells that are released from enchanted items Galen makes are stronger than their normal counterparts due to Galen's high skill in Enchantment. However, doing so is tedious and supplies are limited depending on where Galen is.

@bronislav84, I'm hoping this style of magic seems fine with you since in the worldbuilding, the system seems open-ended. I mean, in general it is item-based magic, not magic done by a caster, so it's a weird indirect route. Might be a bit confusing, I could clean that up if needed. If there's some stuff that needs fixing, just tell me.

Also before I get down to the meat of things, could I have a bit of a clarification on what a Mechari's appearance could look like? I'm currently assuming it's going to depend on the race of the creator that made them. Would it be possible to have a merfolk appearance or such, but without the problem of that particular race, or does racial qualities also play into the Mechari being created?

    Thanks!
