"The Important Deities You Need to Know"

Quetzalcoatl- The Light; Cultural Hero
Other Names: "Most precious twin", "Feathered serpent", "plumed serpent", "Morning Star."
Description: Great priest, Master of Life. God of the wind, sea breeze, knowledge, and life-breath. A creator god who identified with the planet Venus. He is a 'good' god as he required only one human sacrifice a year.
Rules Over: Civilization, the arts, metallurgy, fate.

Tezcatlipoca- The Darkness; Trickster God
Other Names: "Mirror that smokes", "The Shadow", "He who is at the shoulder."
Description: One of two most known about gods of Mexico, he was a local deity of the Toltecs who was later adopted by the Aztecs. The dark aspect of Quetzalcoatl, his symbol was the jaguar. God of obsidian, earth, deception, strife, the night, sorcery.
Rules Over: Divination (especially black mirrors), drought, harvest, dancing, music, warriors, magick, cold, north, night.

Coatlicue- Mother of Gods
Other Names: "Snake Skirt", "Serpent Lady."
Description: Earth Goddess, Great Mother. She was both positive and negative, could bless or harm. She had claws and a skirt of snakes.
Rules Over: All Life, famines and earthquakes.

Coyolxauhqui- The Threat
Other Names: "Golden Bells"
Description: Moon Goddess. Wore golden bells on her cheeks.
Other: Said to lead her army of tzitzimitl or star deities against Huitzilopochtli. This is because she along with the star deities are jealous of their more important brother, him, the current sun god. Their animosity started when she tried to kill their mother, Coatlicue, when she was pregnant with him. The reason being was because she got pregnant with him by a ball of feathers, possibly hummingbird. He learned of this and burst of his mother’s womb in full garb to fight his sister. She is a powerful sorceress as well.

Huitzilopochtli- Sun of 5th World (former present-day earth)
Other Names: "Hummingbird on the Left (South)", "Left-Handed Humming Bird"
Description: National god of the Aztecs. His festival was one of 25 days of a blood orgy with hearts and blood of prisoners dumped on his altar.
Rules Over: Sun, death, war, young men, warriors, storms, guide for journeys.

"The Story Until The End"

The world undergoes a massive event in Dec 21, 2012. However, this was not the first time this happened. Although the Mayans predicted when, the Aztecs were the ones who predicted how. We live in the era of the 5th Sun, having been 4 prior worlds before this one, all of them destroyed and in each world, a god was chosen to rule the universe, being the ‘sun.’

• Nahui-Ocelotl (Jaguar Sun) - Inhabitants were giants who were devoured by jaguars. The world was destroyed. The Sun was Tezcatlipoca.
• Nahui-Ehécatl (Wind Sun) - Inhabitants were transformed into monkeys. This world was destroyed by hurricanes. The Sun was Quetzalcoatl
• Nahui-Quiahuitl (Rain Sun) - Inhabitants were destroyed by rain of fire. Only birds survived (or inhabitants survived by becoming birds). The Sun was Tlaloc, god of rain, fertility, and water./
• Nahui-Atl (Water Sun) - This world was flooded turning the inhabitants into fish. A couple escaped but were transformed into dogs. The Sun was Chalchiuhtlicue, goddess of love, beauty, youth, lakes, rivers, seas, streams, horizontal waters, storms, and baptism
• Nahui-Ollin (Earthquake Sun) - We are the inhabitants of this world. This world will be destroyed by earthquakes (or one large earthquake). The Sun is Huitzilopochtli.
The destruction of the 4 previous suns could be directly or indirectly linked to Tezcatlipoca.

Meanwhile, the prediction of the 5th world’s end goes like this:
The Tzitzimitl became jealous of their brighter, more important brother Huitzilopochtli. Their leader, Coyolxauhqui, lead them in an assault on the sun and every night they come close to victory when they shine throughout the sky, but are beaten back by the mighty Huitzilopochtli who rules the daytime sky. To aid this all-important god in his continuing war, the Aztecs offer him the nourishment of human sacrifices. They also offer human sacrifices to Tezcatlipoca in fear of his judgment, offer their own blood to Quetzalcoatl, who opposes fatal sacrifices, in thanks of his blood sacrifice for them and give offerings to many other gods for many purposes. Should these sacrifices cease, or should mankind fail to please the gods for any other reason, this fifth sun will go black, the world will be shattered by a catastrophic earthquake, and the Tzitzimitl will slay Huitzilopochtli and all of humanity.

"Winter Solstice 2012"

Tezcatlipoca tires of humanity. Being the god of earth, he begins causing earthquakes on the planet. Quetzacoatl, tired of his brother’s destruction, goes in and the two clash in their fiercest battle, shaking the earth and heavens. During this however, Coyolxauhqui saw her window. She led her army against Huitzilopochtli. The two battles began causing tremors and other phenomena across the Earth. So much magic was used, that the Earth was beginning to change. People disappear, plants began to grow rapidly, desert ruins rose from sands and other strange phenomena. In the end, Coyolxauhqui slain her brother. As darkness fell, she tried to become the sun while still being the moon. The battle between the brothers ended when they saw this. Realizing this, the two brothers realized their foolishness. While they would always clash, light and darkness were never against each other, they worked together. They also realized the power of humanity. They fought against the star deities as well. At this, Tezcatlipoca had finally respected the people of this world.

So they did that. They went and beat the rest of the Tzitzimtl and tossed back into the sky so they became the stars once more. However, they realized their leader abandoned them for the sun. Although Coyolxauhqui became the sun, Tezcatlipoca used his divination to create a plan. Queztacoatl used his power to try and restore order and knowledge to the world. However, to Tezca, it wasn’t enough. Using his brother’s knowledge and his sorcery, he blessed humans that had strong will and powerful heart with special powers. Powers from the animal kingdom. This was done to prepared for the upcoming cataclysm.

Now that Coyolxauhqui became the sun, the balance was disrupted. Not only that, she had lacked the power to hold it. If she fell, the world would be plunged into darkness and the cycle of the worlds would end. Having done what he did to ensure the survival of the people, Tezcatlipoca decided to do an act of atonement for his trickery. He fought the new sun goddess. However, this was a ruse. This was done so Quetzacoatl could become a powerful serpent held in the night sky by the reformed but vengeful Tzitzimtl. He would hold chase Coyolxauhqui during the cycle of day and night. To people, it was the like the Milky Way; a massive line of stars resembling a feathered serpent. At its tip of the tail, was the ‘Black Road’ known to scientists at the Great Rift or Dark Rift. It was given as an obsidian mirror to Queztacoatl from Tezcatlipoca as a gift and to guard it, saying it will be key to return the world. All the gods now trying to rearrange to life and humanity trying to build, the brothers planned to save the world from the new Sun Goddess of this Sixth World.

The Situation Now

One night, you woke up changed. You are now part animal, blessed by Tezcatlipoca. In a dream, a feathered serpent and smoking mirror is speaking to you. In your heart, you know their words to be true. They tell you to go to a site. A site where an unknown comet struck, in the remains of Atlanta, GA; within the ruins is an item that will guide you to where you need to go. A quest to save this sixth world from the tyranny of the sun and moon goddess. However, you must people who are cursed; those fused with the remains of loyal Tzitzimtl and they resemble angels. However, they are under the control of the sun and moon goddess, either by choice or force. They and others will serve as opposition to save this world. It has now been 12 weeks since the first person got their dream, now 13 months after the great battle. Get ready, chosen ones, for a quest to become saviors of the sixth world.

NOTES: Follow the rules. No bunnying without permission. Also, no excess drama in the beginning. Everyone are freaks here so no severe fighting within the group at the beginning. Later on it is expected, but in the beginning, there would be no reason to fight yet. Also, have your characters pursue romantic relations. It doesn't matter the spirit animal. So an eagle girl can be with a bear boy. They still resemble mainly human.

Appearance: Diego stands at five foot, 9 inches and weighing at 150 pounds, with light olive skin. He has low cheekbones, a boyish face, no facial hair, and wears a pair of glasses. His hair is black with subtle patches of very dark brown, mainly in the tips. His hair is kept trimmed and neat, however the ends on the back of his head are messy and spiky. He has a growing scruffy beard and mustache. He has slightly bigger than average eyes, which are chocolate brown. His eyes are large enough that they are noticeably larger than average, even by a margin amount.

Diego wears a black T-shirt with a gold yingyang symbol on front and a picture of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, portrayed as an Ouroboros with the crescent moon and sun in the center of the loop on the back. He has on some black cargo pants and some black tennis shoes with a red spiral on them. He has his watch on his left arm and carries his supplies in a black-camo backpack. He completes the ensemble with some futuristic-looking goggles on his head, and a gray fleece "M-44 Jacket".

However, after the transformation, he changed. His skin became sleek and shiny and a bright red with patched of blue. He gained webbing between his fingers and toes and grown a bit taller. He still wears his uniform, but wears bigger shoes. His was now longer. He still had some hair. However, it was now mainly on his head, with the rest being his internal hair, eyebrows an. eyelashes. Anything from his head below, no more hair.

Personality: Diego is a warm and emotional person with an occasion fiery temper and an adventurous spirit. He is very empathetic and has a great desire to help people out. Beneath this outgoing personality, Diego is a shy and quiet person. He is also a very artistic individual as he will often draw whenever he gets the chance to do so. He is very loyal, but can come on as clingy, especially around girls. He also likes to cook. When in serious situations, he knows it is time for him to use his intelligence and strengths at their full capacity. He is very creative and known to be devious for his ideas. He is regarded as being very smart in many aspects.

He has his faults, however. Some of these are being blunt, sarcastic, picking fights, laziness and often day-dreaming during certain moments and saying a weird comment afterward. Beyond that, he also has moments of self-righteousness, showing frustrated toward some of the less-than-savory characters, but holds his tongue when he needs to. He may also show some malevolent intent or hold grudges for a while. He may even show cruel moments, characterized by a crazed grins and shadows under his eyes. He is prone to snarky or blunt comments and is often unable to figure out what to do in situations with people so will often mess things up, though he means no harm. Despite this or because of it, he tries to overcome these traits so people don’t judge him on his faults and see him as a good person.He has accepted his mutation as a gift. He remains optimist about it, because he was already an outcast before then.

Name: Buddy Movlec
Gender: Male
Age: 20

Appearance: Even as a human Buddy was a large boy, before the change he was six foot four and built out of solid muscle. His hair is short and blond, so blond in fact that his stubble beard is nearly impossible to see. His nose is a bit twisted, from being broken many a time and not setting in properly. Currently he wears a souvenir jersey of the vancouver Canucks with his name on it.

After the change Buddy became very moose like. In fact, he's become a moose centaur, with additional traits like massive horns. Now he only wears his jersey, as any other article of human clothing would be impossible for him to wear. He also has a quiver on his back, filled with crudely made arrows.

Personality: Buddy is a kind and strong boy from the Canadian countryside. He was raised near the woods, which he loved to play in as a child, and would camp in as a teenager. Helping people that are unable to help themselves became a very important value to Buddy, which in the camping life could even be a case of life or death.

But Buddy has a secret, one he's kept from even his parents. Buddy hears voices, well, one voice. That of an aging talk show host who in times of stress urges him to 'hit somebody.' Buddy's been able to control this voice he calls the Letterman by taking out his violence with hockey, but without hockey in this dangerous wild would what will become of Buddy?
