EDIT: I've meddled a bit and exaggerated Kayla's size somewhat. Is that okay? Togekiss is pretty big in the anime and it learns Fly, so I figure it should be big enough to carry a full-grown human.

Sure, that's fine. Totem pokemon have canonized size differences in pokemon, so Kayla can just be a bigger than average Togekiss.
Anyway, everything seems good here. Emmett/Gawain is accepted. :)
