    Interview Rapport: VERY POSITIVE
    +1 Shared Evolution Stage
    +1 Shared Type (Poison)

You find Finichi as she waddles slowly along the footpath by Joka Memorial Park, which you can see she is making an effort to avoid. You approach her cautiously, trying to make yourself seem as minimally threatening as possible. She turns to look at you as you approach, and keeps walking. You flag her down, and again she turns away and continues. Her pace remains the same, as if she thinks you have been trying to grab the attention of someone behind or nearby her. Once more you try to get her attention, this time using her name.

"M-me?" the Poison-type questions quietly, stopping and producing an expression of near-bewilderment. She then proceeds to light up. She gets a little flustered. "I didn't...expect you to mean me."

The two of you take a seat on a bench to the side of the footpath, Finichi's mass taking up most of the space. "What is it...that you want to know?" she asks you after you explain why you're here. As soon as you mention Krum, she looks as if a spear has been thrust into her gut. Her face falls and grief floods through her. "I didn't...I didn't know him well," she admits as tears begin to well up in her eyes. "Please d-don't think I'm weird, I just...I thought that one day, maybe...m-maybe..." Her voice peaks and she seals her mouth, moving a three-fingered hand to her face as she weeps. "He was so kind to me and nobody is ever kind to me. That's why I was so convinced that you were trying to get someone else's attention before, not mine!" she tells you, and you can see that this is something that highly affects her. "I just thought Krum and I could get to know each other, but now..."

She breaks into tears again, and as painful as you know it is for her, you ask her if the words painted at last night's crime scene had any significance to her. She looks even more pained.

"It's Extol!" she cries, her woeful expression becoming tainted with hatred. "I HATE HER! This isn't the first time she's killed someone's mate or someone's crush, like poor Uru!" she weeps, unable to hold her anger for much longer and falls back into tears. "I'm so sorry...you must think I'm...I'm a joke. It's what everyone's thought of me my whole life and these Stalkers are just awful, cruel, hideous, evil things and I would give anything to get rid of them all." She shakes her big head, flecks of rubbish falling off and nearly landing on you. "Krum was...my reason to live. He was a hope for my future...and now he's gone. Imagine how many others the Stalkers have done that to! They just kill for pleasure and for sport and...Krum didn't...didn't deserve..."

She lingers for a moment before slumping off the bench, making it shudder a little. She looks about to leave when you ask about Krum's colleagues. Finichi mentions Rabukan, who she knew was close with Krum, but when you ask her for further details, she merely shrugs, appearing as if she's done talking.

"If you want to go after someone...go after Extol. She's evil. Just ask Mahyen or Wanaloo," she answers, voice brimming with defeat and sadness. "And please...tell me if I can help you in any way. I want her to pay."

She walks off, seemingly forgetting about you as she delves further into the corners of grief in her mind.

Alright, time to do what I protected 83. Lora the Kirlia for and talk to her, intimidating as I may look to her. In hindsight, I think I can see why Carmin watches me so closely. If we were a little more biologically compatible and if we didn't have Stalkers to worry about, though, I'd consider asking them out on a date, though. And I'm not afraid to say it out loud in idle chit chat before we get down to business.
In addition to the standard fare (what do they know about the Stalkers, anything that could help, yadda yadda), I need to ask if she knows who the Stalkers could aim for this night - maybe she's noticed a pattern or something.

That, and I'd appreciate actually protecting effectively for once...

Hm... The Kirlia and Gothitelle both live in the same place, right? If I'm lucky, maybe I can interview 84. Carmin the Gothitelle at the same time as I do this... But that's likely just wishful thinking on my part.

Well, that wasn't pleasent. Hopefully that hand will be of use in the near future...

Anyway, I guess I'd better start looking for more leads. That Galvantula looks promising...

Hello there! I was wondering if I could ask you a few question? I'm investigating the stalkers, and I was wondering if you knew anything about them that might be useful. Oh, and have you seen a gold and ruby necklace? Also, do you know anyone who works in a medical center, or otherwise has access to medical equipment & accessories?

    Interview: 50. Gung the Galvantula

    {Search: (73b) Inspiration Inc. Chemical Plant Floors 1-5}
You arrive before the Inspiration Inc Chemical Plant, which is a larger, lighter-gray building that hasn't seen too much damage over time. Unlike some of the other buildings in the area, this one seems to be relatively intact and only a little bit of vandalism is here.

You head inside, taking note that the front double metal doors haven't been locked or chained off. After heading inside, you see the inside of the building hadn't taken too much damage either. The concrete floor, metallic walls, and piped concrete ceiling don't even seem to be in such bad condition and wouldn't really take much renovation to bring it all back online.

Most of the equipment was taken away, but there are a few minor fixtures that still remain here that someone didn't think were worth digging out of the ground to preserve. As a result, there is a lot of stripped machine components that aren't worth much than the metal they're made of.

The second floor seems to be more of the same, along with the third. You have a feeling what you're really looking for lies more on the fourth floor, so you head there to find a lot more of the same factory line equipment. As before, there's really not much left here. It seemed Inspiration Inc was very quick to strip whatever they could out of here and either throw it out or liquidate it.

You do come across one room that seems to be metal-lined storage containment room. As you step back the door, you hear some kind of clicking just before a mechanism pops and suddenly you're struck with a bombardment of ghostly spears that are smothered with a violet and black spectral fire. Thankfully, being a ghost type, they do you no harm, but to another Pokémon, the damage would have been brutal, if not fatal...

The only thing in this room seems to be a note on the wall. As you take a look, it seems to be in Braille again.

=Oblivion Wall Note= was noted in the Team Records.

You check the remainder of the fourth floor and the remaining fifth floor, you only find more of the same stripped equipment. You have a distinct feeling the search goes on.

    Search (10a) Central Field
You head out to Patriarch Stadium's central field to see if anything was left behind here. You can see the field hasn't been used for a little while, but in general, it seems to be in good condition and wouldn't take much for the stadium to reopen and be used again. It's really only the lines in the grass that need to be repainted after the grass itself has been mowed and taken care of.

As you can see, the sport of Strikeball seems to be like a hybrid of volleyball and soccer where if the ball touches the ground, it simply ends up in that team's territory. Meanwhile, large metal goal posts are at each side of the field. You don't find anything too suspicious on the field itself. It's been pretty much empty for a while now.

Things seem to be quiet and empty by the metallic player benches. In general, these don't seem all too affected by the Stalker outbreak the way the rest of the city seems, but you do find something out of the ordinary under one section of the player bench. You find a hidden Adrenaline Syringe, which seems quite suspicious on the playing field and you have a feeling someone has been cheating at this sport lately. Nonetheless, you take it away for several good reasons.

Item [Adrenaline Syringe] has been added to the Team Inventory.

After making one last sweep around the field, you don't find too much else, so you decide to head back to base.

    I'll use the [Twisted Cross Key] on the {Rusted Cabinet: Twisted Cross Emblem}
After taking the Twisted Cross Key and heading toward Patriarch Stadium, you head into the same concession stand area that Sam had found earlier. It doesn't seem like too much has changed at all and you have the feeling it hasn't been visited by anyone since he was last here.

You head toward where the rusted cabinet was found in the employee supply area. You follow the trail of wall scratches and find the cabinet in question bearing the same, twisted cross sign that was scratched in by the keyhole. You insert the key and it fits perfectly. After turning the lock, you open the door and it creaks as the contents are revealed.

Inside, you find what looks like half of a metallic plate. Oddly enough, it's been scratched and scribbled on, giving it a very disturbing appearance. There's no image, wording, or anything. Just nothing but scrawl and scribbles. Ordinarily, you wouldn't think there would be much value in something like this, but you know there was a reason why it was locked up like this. You decide to take it with you.

Item [Scrawl Taken Right Half] has been added to the Team Inventory.

With nothing else to discover here, you take what you have found and head back to base.

You arrive at the Silvercoal Medical Center, intending on heading up to the 31st floor to start your search. Things seem calm for now, but there is still a feeling of dread in the air.

After taking the elevator up, you get a sinking feeling. While going through the floors intended for dialysis treatment, you see the Pokémon here have all kinds of different treatments to deal with kidney failure. As you see, all kinds of different machines of different shapes and sizes have been provided to account for different types of Pokémon. Meanwhile, the white linoleum tiled floor is quite clean, the white walls have pleasant pictures of flowers, sunrises, and other optimistic scenes. It does make you feel better and you imagine it must make Pokémon that have to go through rough medical treatments feel more optimistic and at ease.

As you see some of these dialysis procedures in action, you almost begin to feel like humans have it much easier considering human shapes and sizes are about the same, whereas for Pokémon, there's a lot more to account for and many of these medical professionals have to compensate for it.

The Burn Unit has been reserved for burns of the severe, life-threatening kind. At certain points, Rawst berries stop being effective and that's where this section of the hospital comes in. From what you can tell, the patients here, the few that there are, weren't involved in Stalker-related incidents. You have a feeling in most cases, Stalker victims never even make it to the hospital in the first place...

While searching the rooms, you happen to find a Revival Herb in one of the steel medical cabinets. It seems a bit out of place with the bandages and treatment ointments, but you decide it might be useful for later.

Item [Revival Herb] has been added to the Team Inventory.

After going through the burn unit floors, you head up and go through the areas where they are attempting clinical trials for experimental drugs. Here, things seem a lot more grim considering the Pokémon here are not responding well to standard medication and using experimental prototype drugs are their last chance.

However, around these floors, you don't find anything that really seems to stand out or seems like something you might need for dealing with the Stalkers. You soon head out and return back to base.
