Uhh, I'm not really sure what's going on. I need to compare notes, but everyone's out searching... I guess I'll look somewhere and check in on what the others find in the morning.

(AKA: I'm not caught up yet, and I don't have time to read through before the night cycle ends)

Looks like what we're looking for is behind the security door after all. Maybe there's something on the outside of the building to help open it.

Search (80e) Destno Public Housing Complex: Floors 41-50
After hearing about the unfortunate happenings on the lower floors at Destno, you elect to carefully tread around the place, ensuring that you don't run into anything as damaging. Of course, you know that if something takes you by surprise, there will be little to stop it, but you still vow to be careful.

You enter the building, more cautious about your surroundings now that it's nighttime. The electricity you summon helps you to see a little, but you still feel a little i̻̰̝̠solate͂ͭ̌͆d in the d͕̥̳̗a͈ͮ̌͢r̊̅͗ͭͩͥͩ k͖̳̯͎͍̋͗̾̎͛ͨness͎͇̠̠̺̅.

Floor 41 yields nothing, but as you come upon the 42nd, you feel a p̡̺͎͚̱̱̘̦̃́͘re̫̯̙̓̈̑ͥ̆́s̬̟̽͑͞͡cenc̵͖̭͔͕̓̍̉̄̈́̍e̾́ͦ̈ ̢̫͓̮̻̣̾̅͞. You plod onwards, coming by a hole in the wall which doesn't seem very out of place given the state of the building. As you reach into the hole to see what lies within, you feel a pulsing sensation in your mind, but then you see why: there are markings on the wall just above the hole which you imagine is where the demonic sensations are originating. You narrow your eyes and conjure more electricity to scar the wall, snuffing out the markings carved into them and terminating the trap left for you by what was clearly a Stalker.

You reach into the hole and wrap your paws around a dirty, partly ruined box. You check your surroundings out of habit, ensuring nobody is looking at a floating box, and remove the lid to find what looks like a message torn into many little pieces. You wonder what it could be, so you take the box with you as you search to floor 50. When you find nothing more, you bring the box back to the Emissary hideout.

Object =Torn Note 1/2= was noted in the Team Records

You search the Golden Sunrise Furniture Store on the eastern edge of Silvercoal City. It's quite a massive light-gray building and you're quite sure a lot of places, both residential and commercial, get their furniture here.

You start by searching the perimeter, circling around the building and the parking lot. Everything seems to be in good condition and there isn't much trash or vandalism here. The parking lot, though completely empty tonight with the store closed, seems to be in normal condition also with nothing suspicious.

Inside, the spaces are very open and there are hundreds of furniture displays and display room arrangements. Most of the lights are turned off due to the store being closed, but there is enough minimal lighting to see your way around in the dimmer light. You can definitely seem enough of the displays around you. Meanwhile, there are chairs, beds, tables, bookshelves, coffee tables, and many more in all kinds of sizes and styles, as well as price ranges from the fancy and expensive kinds to the cheaper and budget kinds. In all, it doesn't look like this store was affected too much by the Stalker incidents, but you imagine it certainly didn't help business either.

You notice the store is divided into sections based on the furniture's use. Living room and den furniture is on one area, office furniture is in another, bedroom furniture is on a whole other level, and so on. And you notice there is a clearance area as well.

As you search throughout the store, you come across one area that looks a little tight. As you peer inside, you notice a gold chain inside the tight area, which seems unusual. You use your small size to make your way through and you manage to collect all the pieces together.

From what you gather, it seems to be a broken gold and ruby necklace. It looks like the connector ring broke and caused it to fall off from whoever was wearing it. Meanwhile, because it landed on the soft carpet, they never heard it fall.

You don't think you can fix it yourself, but you're quite sure someone can repair this to be good as new.

Item [Gold and Ruby Necklace: <Repair>] has been added to the Team Inventory.

You search through the rest of the store and don't find anything else that seems to be unusual, so you take what you've found and head back.

You paddle up to The Seawish Tower to the only set of floors which have yet to be searched. You hope that you find something worthwhile as your headlamp lights up your path as best it can underwater. You make your way past various apartments as you wade on through, deciding to start from floor 40 and work your way down.

Three floors down, you begin to feel something c̯͎a̘͔͕̣̫̫͊̀l̶̏ling̿ͭͬ to you. For some reason you feel yourself frowning, and it's not long before you feel needlessly frustrated. You feel like ramming into a door to vent your sudden anger, but instead, you manage to focus on a strange object that you can see in a pile of junk that someone has stacked outside their apartment. You assume these are possessions that the apartment owner didn't want anymore, and you're not surprised that a foreboding, clearly Stalker-related item was among the possessions that the owner wanted to get rid of.

Your anger continues to build as you near the object, which appears to be a small stone carving of a string instrument. You pick it up, noting that on its underside there is a small needle which fires off a dart at you. You instantly drop it, zipping to the right at the last moment as the dart hits the wall behind you and shatters. Its fragments slowly descend through the water, its contents dissipating. You feel your anger subside and you are filled with relief. The viola, as you determine the stone object is, looks like it's a part of the monument found at Dakin Apartments by one of your fellow Emissaries. You know that you already have the clarinet, which leaves only the saxophone before you or one of your teammates can activate the shrine.

Item [Vicious Viola] was added to the Team Inventory.

You swim throughout the remainder of the floors, confident that there is nothing more here. As you head back to the Emissary quarters, you wonder in the back of your mind if it would be worth searching areas that your teammates began to look through but never fully finished exploring.

You arrive at Northwind School, and even from the outside, you can see this is really not the place for those who care about their education. There's graffiti on the walls, trash and broken glass, and it looks like the school could use some renovations, but you figure they don't bother because the kids here would just ruin it in no time anyway.

You head inside and decide to check out the lower levels. As you walk inside, you see the school looks terrible. The floor and walls are dirty and desperately need to be painted over to get rid of the unsightly graffiti that's everywhere. Even though it's dark and quiet, you imagine that during the day school time hours, students must be getting into fights constantly around here and you feel bad for any student stuck here that genuinely cares about their education.

The cafeteria is disgusting and you immediately wince from the ungodly odor. The tiled floor is old, cracked, and breaking down while the walls are really dated and look like they haven't been redone in decades. Cheap, creaky, and slightly rusted metal tables and chairs are pushed around everywhere with some of them knocked over. Meanwhile, they seem to only clean the floors only once a week. As a result, wasted food, spilled drinks, sticky spots, and crumbs are everywhere. The trash cans are stuffed and one of them is even knocked over with its contents scattered all around.

The gymnasium isn't in very good shape either. The wooden floor looks like it's rotting and the ceiling has a few broken sky windows and several patches of water damage. From what you can see, a lot of the gym equipment is damaged also. Not to mention someone didn't put it all back correctly. Ripped exercise mats, rusted weights, and deflated sports balls are all over the place.

The area where the administrative offices is much nicer, however, and you get the feeling that the money is going to all the wrong places. The offices are a lot neater and they have much better computers and equipment to work with than the teachers and students do. In one particular drawer, you search and find what looks like an old key with a black rose emblem on it.

Item [Black Rose Key] has been added to the Team Inventory.

You make one last search around the office area, but it doesn't seem like anything else really stands out. You are greatly disappointed that it seems like a lot of the money that should be going into cleaning up the school is going to the principal and their cronies.

You decide to head out and return back to base.

Madder has decided to search Destno Apartments floors 21-30.
You heed your teammates' warnings about Destno, and although you know that it was founded with good intentions, the general populace doesn't seem to be overly happy. You can tell by the graffiti, some sobbing sounds while you walk past certain apartments, and some of the stories you've heard since arriving at Silvercoal City.

You head straight for floor 21, beginning to work your way up. The constant shouts catch you off guard sometimes, and at one stage, a rather large Oranguru storms out of a room, nearly hitting you as his massive hands swing by. You sneak past the open apartment door, then head up to the next floor.

For a while you find nothing, but upon coming to floor 28, you see an alcove in the wall similarly to the one at Shalerich Apartments, where Ciel found the Tendril Locked Box. You steel yourself as you near it, expecting to feel some sort of damage to your mind, but find to your relief that nothing invades your thoughts. You extend your dark, shadowy arms into the hole and feel around, coming upon what feels like another container. You walk into the alcove, finding yourself in the wall cavity, and dust away some cobwebs around you before taking a look at the box.

This box is bronze and has nonsensical writing scribbled all over it. You can see that it is recent graffiti, but you can't read it. The lock mechanism looks relatively simple, unlike the other box found, and curiously you reach a hand around and begin to tinker. To your surprise your lockpick skills are actually effective for this container, and with renewed confidence, you basically attack the lock with your skill and manage to click it open.

The lid flings off, narrowly missing you before an ë́̂̚xͮͮ̓͏̼̼̮ p̷̠̹̈́̊͐l̸͖̈͋ͪ̀̓̿ͅo͝sionͮ̍͊̎ͮ of spores shoots into your face, and while your head is covered by a disguise, it seeps through the fabric and invades with ease. You feel closed, s̶̵͢͡͝u͏͡f̸̡͢͝ f̶͟͜͠o̵͏̧c̵̷̵͢ a͜͟t̨̨̛͡i̸͘͘͡n̡̡ g͝͏ for a bundle of seconds before you launch into a fit of coughs and manage to rid yourself of most of the spores.

Madder has suffered 1 point of damage to Health and 1 point of damage to Sanity.

You back away, trying to regain your bearings before coming back to the container with care and peering inside. The trap seems to have cleared, and to your relief, nothing remains behind to further harm you. However, the spores are drilling deeper into your veins, and you feel as if you might be succumbing to their toxins.

    Madder has become POISONED.

Disregarding that for a moment, you pull out what lies within, which is a single diary entry. Your eyes light up as you realise that this is the writings of the host that the Enthraller Philter took over, most likely at the time of Philter's appearance.

Object =Philter Diary Entry #2= was added to the Team Inventory.

You begin to feel more toxins bubbling inside you, but you search the two floors above anyway before you slip out of the building and make your way back to the Emissary quarters. By the time you arrive, you have already suffered from effects of the poison.

Madder has suffered 1 point of damage to Health.
