Balek Manufacturing Plant is not a pretty sight. The smell is also rather undesirable, and as you make your way to the thirty-first floor, you wonder if you're going to come across a body to explain the source of the stench. You also think it's possible that part of the floor or ceiling might collapse. As you begin your search, you find nothing, however, and keep moving as the air grows colder.

You become a little concerned as you venture further up, as the closer you get to the top, the icier everything becomes. You notice that the walls are glistening with a thin layer of ice, and at one stage, you step on a sharp icy rise. It's also darker as more windows are boarded and covered, so you activate the torch you brought with you and shine it about. You curse a little when a stalactite above you shatters right in front of you and splinters into millions of shards. You pick up your pace and enter a room with walls encased with ice. The sight is a shock to you, and you wonder where the ice came from.

There is a glowing switch on the opposite side of the room which tempts you in, and although you feel hesitant about entering, you do so anyway and head closer to what you imagine is a type switch similar to ones your teammates have found in other locations. Its green energy clues you in to the fact that you probably can't activate it.

Object {Type Switch: +Grass+} was added to the Team Records.

Suddenly there is the sound of a crack, and one of the giant stalactites above you snaps and plummets toward you. You shriek, unable to do a thing as it crashes into you and smashes against your body, sending a shock through your entire nervous system as your front slams against the floor. Another mound follows, shattering in the centre of your back and causing you to yell out in pain. You can feel your life energy rapidly declining as you struggle to remain conscious, and manage to hang on by the smallest of threads.

Felix has suffered 4 points of damage to Health.

Your entire body is screaming as you force yourself upright and high-tail it out of the room. You limp all the way back to base, still feeling the sting of the super effective hit. You know that if you hadn't been susceptible to ice, it would have affected you to a lesser degree. However, there is nothing you can do for now, so you let your teammates know what you found and remain in the safety of the quarters for the remainder of the day.

    {Interview (Mission): 3. Udipheign the Drifblim}
You find Udipheign on his lunch break at his workplace, Greendash Restaurant. He is halfway through eating it when his eyes go wide at your appearance. At first he tries to flee, but then he seems to realise who you are. The fact that you are also a Ghost-type appears to settle him further. He sets down his lunch and approaches you.

"Y...you're here because you know I need help, right?" he asks quickly, his eyes darting left and right. "I know. I just know he's a Stalker. Th-there's something on the same floor where he lives. Something locked inside a locker; I just know it. There's also his workplace--oh, his suspicious workplace!" You ask him to slow down, so he takes a deep breath, inflating his balloon-like body further. "Talm the Throh. He's so suspicious. He lives on the thirty-ninth floor of Jetstone Apartments; you have to check it out. He works at Dhalshaw Laboratories now, but he used to work at Rhombus Medical Research Laboratories, right, where weird things have been showing up. Also, there were rumours that he was fired for being 'clumsy.' I think he was destroying evidence on purpose--evidence of his toxins and his poisons that he uses to kill people! There's a Stalker who does that, you know. And I bet he's it!"

The Drifblim rotates his body a few times, clearly paranoid that somebody is watching him. He turns to you again. "Go check it out, please. I couldn't live with myself if I knew he was a Stalker and said nothing about it!"

Udipheign gobbles up the rest of his lunch and enters the restaurant through the back door, leaving you alone.

MISSION OPENED: Investigate Udipheign's Stalker lead.

Everything hurts... I don't want to hear the name "Philter" ever again.

But we're making real progress. Bless your heart, Krysari.

    Rest.

    Rest.
When night falls, you head straight for bed, feeling the soft, feathery texture of the pillow rest against your spiky head. The beautifully plush mattress soothes your aching body and mind, allowing you to drift off into a peaceful sleep. In the corner of the room, Krysari sits meditating. The energy emanating from her surrounds you and seeps into your mind, allowing you to heal more than normal.

Velo has restored 2 points of Sanity.

When you wake, you feel much calmer, more free in your mind, and finally able to think clearly. The events of the day still haunt you somewhat, but at least you are able to rationalise now and know that what you did was worth the cost.

As you watch Velo settle down into bed, you pick one nearby and do the same. The blankets are soft and welcoming, and they feel almost heavenly as your head flops onto the pillow and your spinning mind begins to take a needed rest. Krysari's presence is almost illuminating, and her calmness and strength washes over you while you sleep, helping you heal.

Sam has restored 2 points of Sanity and 1 point of Health.

The intense fuzziness in your head has almost completely cleared by the time you wake. You notice that Velo is up again as well, and you feel relieved that both of you are back in a safe state.

I'm challenging that AI Chatot to a Rap Battle using my Diplomacy.
There's a sentence I never thought I'd need to say.

I'm past patiently waiting! I'm passionately smashing every expectation! Every action's an act of creation! I'm laughing in the face of casualty and sorrow, for the first time I'm thinking past tomorrow!
