Hello, madam, ignore the fact that I was just talking to myself. How are you doing today? How is your husband doing? Would you happen to know anything about the Stalkers?

You visit Muruna the Clefable at the Clean Easy Laundromat while you also notice Sam the Deerling searching. While Sam searches, you talk to Muruna and try to get an idea of what she knows.

"Oh, I'm okay," Muruna tries to muster a warm but tired smile. "Thanks for coming by to see me. I don't get a whole lot of visitors here, so when a kind soul like you comes along, it always makes my day better."

"Oh Vicker..." Muruna sighs when you asked about him. "He just... wasn't like this when I first met him. He used to be a charming young man many ages ago, but now he just always seems suspicious. He used to like parties as well, but now he just broods in the dark. I wish... I wish I knew why he changed to be this way. I wonder if it has something to do when he heard his father died. He was never quite the same after that..."

"He found something odd the other day," Muruna explains, recalling a recent memory. "It looked like this strange metal triangle-shaped thing that I never had seen him with before. Vicker told me he found it, but he never puts it down now. He fidgets with it a lot, and I was curious to see it but he snuck it away when all I wanted to do was take a look. I did catch a glimpse and it looked like it was stained with blood! What a terrible thing. I don't know why we holds onto it, but I get anxious when I see him always... fidgeting with it. Surely that thing can't be good. Please, I wasn't able to talk him out of getting rid of it. Maybe you can?"

It makes you wonder what exactly this thing is, but you can't help but feel the best way to find out is to talk to Vicker himself. It could very well be what he found is Stalker related.

"This Stalkers..." Muruna sighs, looking worried. "Nothing but dreadful. Now, I'm not one to judge, but there's just something... something about Yandil that concerns me. Twice I've seen him acting strangely, but it's hard to explain. He acted so peculiar, looking left and right as if someone was watching him, but then when a kind and perfectly innocent Cinccino asked if he was okay, he just up and snapped at her! I keep my distance from him whenever I see him now. He was at the ApexMart the other day when I saw him outside, I just decided not to shop that day and just headed home. Please, be careful around him. I would try to avoid him too if I were you."

"Well, thank you for taking the time to speak with me, dearie," Muruna smiles. "Even if you didn't come to wash your clothes, I enjoyed this kind of patronage."

You decide to head back toward Axlin Chemicals to complete the search on the rest of the building. You still don't get used to that smell, but it's becoming less and less irritating each time you come here.

The upper floors mainly seem to be chemical research labs, supply rooms, and testing areas. On the fourth floor, you find there are several cooking and heating areas. It seems this area isn't used as often as it used to be, back when Southwarren was a much safer town.

It seems like most of the furnaces are turned off, though there is one that seems like it might have been left on by accident. You seem inclined to turn it off for safety precaution, but when you approach it and look inside to see what's going on, you swear it's like looking into the ghostly, purple-fla̵̟̣̩͈͉̺ͯͬmin̴͊̎͋ͬ͟͞͏̢͇͈̭͎̳g maws of yǫ̵̟̭͎̦̯͓͎̗̩̱̳̟̣̣̼̬̽͐͛̒ͅͅur wǫ̵̟̭͎̦̯͓͎̗̩̱̳̟̣̣̼̬̽͐͛̒ͅͅrst n̴͊̎͋ͬ͟͞͏̢͇͈̭͎̳ightma̵̟̣̩͈͉̺ͯͬre.

Without a doubt, you look away and definitely conclude the flames in that furnace are highly supernatural in nature. You feel this isn't at all Axlin's doing and someone has been using this furnace for lord-knows what purpose. However, you know for a fact there's no equipment here that can make use of that flame. It seems the ghostly fire is used for some other purpose, but until you have something that could actually store something like this, you can't make use of it either.

You decide to get out of there and you feel there's nothing you can do about it until you find some kind of incubator meant to contain a flame like that.

On the 6th floor, you come across one of the long-neglected research labs that it seems Axlin hasn't used for a long time. It seems as though this lab was meant to be fully cleaned out as all the equipment has been disconnected, the shelves are empty, and all the supply closets have all been cleared. The only thing that still remains is a research-grade laboratory burner, which might have some use for the Emissaries. Axlin was probably going to throw it out anyway, so you decide to take it and find some other purpose for this device.

After finishing off the rest of your search, you feel you've done pretty well, though the sight of those flames still haunts you mind a bit. That feeling still lingers with you as you make your way out the door...

You find Edder the Sigilyph living at the Deckler Apartment Building, where it seems he's definitely grown old and the years haven't been a friend to his memories and his mental capacity. You knock on his door, and at first he tells you to go away, but you simply tell him you're here to help and only then does he decide to open the door for you. But only just a crack as you continue to stand in the hallway. It seems he doesn't even want you in his apartment, but from what you can tell from the dust and the slight smell that manages to pass through, you figure maybe that's for the best.

"Stalkers!?" Edder asks you, sounding eccentric and odd. "There better not be any Stalkers here! You, wait a minute...! Are you one of them!?"

You tell him you're not, and quite the opposite in that you explain you're trying to find them and stop them. He nods, but then looks back at you with a look of doubt in his old eyes.

"Can I trust you?" he asks.

You nod, although you wonder if he really knows what's going on.

"I know who all the Stalkers are," Edder tells you. "Stalkers, yes, they're everywhere. They feed off of the dreams of the living, they do. Especially the young ones. They seem to favor the young ones. Vabin... now that's a Stalker. That schmuck would always hide behind my hedgerow, probably waiting to mug me or steal my medication. And Veba. Damn that Veba. Always going on and on and on about her snooty stupid boyfriend and the damn noise they made listening to that trashy drivel they think still counts as music. I HATE that noise. And then there's that little snit. Yandil. Always running around like a busy little Beedril... like I don't know WHAT THE HELL HE'S UP TO! Good riddance to all of them. And I mean all of them. Yes, you get rid of all of them. Give me some peace and quiet."

He then shuts the door, and leaves you alone in the hallway, though you can almost hear slight muttering behind the door, which eventually quiets down to pure silence...

Might as well finish this place out. I'll check out(10) Senger Manufacturing Exterior!

You decide while the daylight is still out and the sun will help illuminate anything that might be noteworthy, you head to the northern side of Southwarren and check out the exterior of the Senger Manufacturing Plant. From the outside, the large gray manufacturing facility was recently renovated and the walls and few windows seem to be in pretty good condition. It also has a nice view of the park, which you figure makes this pretty nice real estate for an industrial zone.

You start by searching the northern side first. Thankfully, the area around this part of town is clean, but still, you wonder if the situation with the Stalkers may have affected anything and maybe things were even better before all this started to happen. Along the side of the road besides the building, you find what appears to be a small, blue scale. You pick it up and it seems like it belongs to a Pokémon in town. Possibly a sample of a Stalker? You decide taking it with you is probably better than just leaving it there.

You continue your search around the building and get to where the loading dock is. Right now, it seems activity here isn't as active as it usually is and it seems like Senger has reduced their shipments to a weekly basis. You take a look at the new shipping schedule posted on the wall and it seems they only ship product once a week. It seems like the company manages to stay active, but only just enough to get by. Once again, another result of the Stalkers.

Behind one of the dumpsters that look like it was recently emptied, you find what looks like another rod, similar to the one you saw Sarah bring back. You take a look at it and it seems this one has the depiction of a toothy mouth instead, again, crudely scratched into the base. As you hold it, it seems like there is the faintest trace of Stalker presence, giving you all the more reason to take it along.

Just as you add it to your belongings, you then look up. I'll search (30) Jayberry School this time. Hopefully there won't be any half finished dark rituals there.

Seemingly isolated away from most of the other town activity, Jayberry School doesn't seem at all like the welcoming place children should be going to learn. Attendance is low and you can tell the situation with the Stalkers hasn't helped with that either. In the meantime, you can see that the school is closed and even though they have plenty of room to grow, it's something that's likely not going to happen. It seems as though it was an attempt to make Southwarren more family-friendly and not just an industrial hub, but it doesn't seem like that attempt worked out.

As you approach the building, you can tell it's barely a few years old and was likely built when Stalkers weren't such a problem here. Now, not only is registered attendance low, but the school has been closed for a while.

You decide to search around the exterior first. In truth, if things had been under better circumstances, you figure a school like this might have been a bit more successful, but now it just sits idly and unused. You begin to think it might even be stuck that way for a few years even if the Stalkers were to be removed, but for now, it's quiet and as still as a graveyard.

You search around the exterior doesn't reveal much, but it's better than what you saw at the library last night. You then head into the inside, where it seems like things are nicely in order and classes could have started this morning, but there's nothing. The halls are quiet, the lights are off, the desks are empty, and no one is around.

The classrooms also look like they overcompensated as well. There's at least six classrooms with desks and stations for two-dozen Pokémon students, and they're all empty. When you get to the sixth classroom, it seems it's the same story until there's something about one of the desks in the back. Out of all the desks you've seen, they were perfectly fine except for this one.

There's a puddle of blood on the surface. It seems a bit old and dried, but when you approach it and take a closer look, you see there's some kind of nail jutting right in the center of it. When you zero in on it, you see there's a word etched into the metal nail and suddenly it sounds like it's screa̸̷̠̝̯̱͈̍͌͗̿̃͊̃͗͊̾͛̍̈́̀͞͠ͅming in yǫ̶̴̬̳̹͚̳͙͓̹̖̜̻̋͋̊̄ͪ͆ͯͩ̀͜ur mind.
