Pokemon has release new information about Necrozma and Rotom Dex from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon!
Necrozma Details
Dusk Mane Necrozma
Type: Psychic/Steel
This form of Necrozma manifests when the Pokémon takes control of both the body and mind of the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo, absorbing the light energy that pours out of it. It slices opponents with its strong claws on its four legs and it can propel itself forward by shooting black light from both sides of its chest.
Dusk Mane Necrozma will be able to preform an exclusive Z-Move when it knows Sunsteel Strike. If Dusk Mane Necrozma is holding Solganium Z then it can preform Searing Sunraze Smash. This is a powerful Steel type attack that ignores any effects of the target’s Ability.
Dawn Wings Necrozma
Type: Psychic/Ghost
This form of Necrozma manifests when the Pokémon takes control of the Legendary Pokémon Lunala, stealing its light energy by force. Dawn Wings Necrozma accelerates by shooting black light from its back. This Necrozma form shoots energy that glows darkly from the black parts of its wings.
Dawn Wings Necrozma is able to preform an exclusive Z-Move when it knows Moongeist Beam. This attack becomes Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom when holding Lunalium Z. When you use Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom then it ignores any effects of abilities that the target has.
If you are Necrozma knows either Sunsteel Strike or Moongeist Beam while holding the needed Z-Crystal then it can preform Searing Sunraze Smash or Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. This would mean that there will be some way for Necrozma to learn Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam.
Necrozma also gains a brand new move called Photon Geyser. This Psychic attack engulfs the opponent’s Pokemon in a pillar of light. The damage that is dealt depends on the user’s Attack and Special Attack stats and deals damage to the opponent according to whichever is higher.
Rotom Dex
Your Rotom Dex will get a major update in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Depending on your bond with it, Rotom Dex will be able to do so many things to support you on your journey.
One of the things that Rotom Dex can do is the Roto Loto feature. This feature will allow Rotom Dex to give you special items. Some of these items will allow you to gain more experience in battles, hatch eggs faster or make it easier to catch Pokemon.
Rotom Dex will be able to use Z-Power once your bond has become strong enough. This Z-Power will allow is called Rotom’s Z-Power. This Z-Power will allow you to use a second Z-Move during a battle.
