Nope, the government's insistent stance is deterrence and blahblahblah. As long as you are able-bodied (physically and combat fit), you have to participate. Only those with serious medical conditions can be exempted. It's really stressful for me that on some days, I feel myself slowly sinking back into anxiety and depression that I crawled out years ago.
