Focus!!
How is your attention span? Can you focus on one thing for a long time, or do you have to break everything up into small chunks?
I have an awful attention span. I can focus on something for 30 minutes tops, and then I have to do something else for a bit. I've learnt to work with it though; for example, if I have multiple uni projects to do, I switch between them every half an hour. Working on things for extended periods really drains me and I can't concentrate properly, I often zone out if I concentrate for too long! It's a real pain when I'm being timed, like in exams, but I've found ways of managing it in those situations too

Cheers and good times!
Most of the time, I break everything up into small chunks. I think the most I can actually do a certain activity is about two hours max. After that, I absolutely need a break. It used to also be this way for studying. I could read a textbook for about two hours, and I often had to highlight important stuff even if it was only just to have some kind of interactive element to the reading. Otherwise, I'd knock myself asleep.
I also CANNOT do any kind of activity while lying in bed. Reading a book... psh, forget it, I'll knock myself asleep. Even playing a 3DS game can also have the same result.

// r a w r
Well... This is how I do things I'm supposed to be doing:
- Start it.
- Five minutes into it, I go downstairs to get a snack and I'm not even hungry.
- Open up YouTube and watch a random video while eating my snack.
- Tell myself to get back to work but end up watching two more videos.
- Finally continue it.
- Ten minutes after, a random thought floats into my mind.
- Immediately open a new tab to google it.
- Spend the next fifteen minutes clicking on links and reading about it.
- Tell myself to get back to working.
- Ignore myself and open up YouTube.
- Watch a few more videos.
- Tell myself I really need to continue working.
- Continue working.
- Some specific part of the homework intrigues me.
- Get up and pace around my room for ten minutes thinking about said thing.
- Sit down again and finally finish my work.
- Wonder where the hours have gone.
If it's something like gaming, though, I'm very focused.

The Queen of Shaymin

Pssssh you've obviously never met me. I generally can't focus on anything. Even when I'm doing something I enjoy, I usually have like a thousand thoughts going through my head at the same time and the next thing I know I'm doing something completely different then what I was doing a second ago. Exhibit A: I was working on my Magi Saga form yesterday and instead of working on it like a diligent person every two seconds I kept thinking of something else to work on and doing that.
I should also mention I'm supposed to be studying for my math entrance exam right now but I'm not because "I wonder if Neo replied to my pm" turned into "let's just browse the site for a while."
