It's not known whether or not it's the shiny coloration (though I can't see why it wouldn't be), but rather what Magearna looked like when it was first created. Apparently, this is what it looked like when it was "serving a kingdom" when it "looked fancy." I guess its current coloration is due to fading? I mean, if it was...painted LOL. az got lazy
