:P I also heard you can catch Arceus if you go to Vatican city and see the Pope's chair. Not everything you hear is true. Maybe the guy did travel to find the pokemon. Maybe he traded it with someone else who did the traveling. I myself doubt that all 146 pokemon can be found in just New York City anyway.
