Funny: my pre-order of Alpha Sapphire actually came with a HUGE ORAS Guidebook. I can't believe they still make those things! Since there wasn't any information compiled elsewhere yet, I was always referencing that thing. It made me think of back in the day when I'd always read my Ruby and Sapphire guidebook...and later diamond and pearl. I STILL like to get those guides solely for aesthetics and because there's just something about collecting physical books like that that is just so alluring!

Having movies spoiled doesn't bother me either. Even if you know X or Y happens, you still need to discover how and why that is and what kind of significance it has on the storyline. To me, movies and stories are like a road trip and spoiling something means you just know what one of the stops along the way is about. But you still don't know what the rest of the journey is going to be like and when you're going to encounter that known fact. And the only way you actually do that and understand the journey is by watching the whole thing in full.
THIS! I personally am not bothered by spoilers; sure they ruin the surprise sometimes, but when it comes to Pokemon I'd rather not go in blind. I like knowing about things in advance; and I too was kinda spoiled in regards to Undertale, but it hasn't bothered me. After all, it's seeing the story unfold in front of you that makes an impact. That's just me, though! I honestly envy those that can go into new Pokemon games blind without spoilers. That would be a living nightmare for me!

    1. There is no state called Carolina. There's North Carolina and South Carolina, in which both have 3 months of summer vacation for colleges, but not for high schools.
    2. I didn't say the vacation wasn't June through August, I said they aren't three months in most cases.
    3. Wisconsin: Summer break is from June 11 to August 19, roughly 2 months.
Michigan: June 24 to September 6, again roughly 2 months.
Indiana: May 6 to August 22, this one is about 3 and a half months, so you were correct here.
New York: June 28 to September 9, so about 2.5 months
Florida: April 29 to August 24, 3 months so you were correct here.
Mississippi: May 13 to August 24, about 3.5 months so you were correct here as well.
Maine: May 13 to August 29, also over 3 months.

So you had some examples correct, but that might be because I was using university or college schedules, which generally have longer summer breaks than high schools. Colleges usually have longer summer and winter breaks than high schools, and since I just graduated from high school in June, I would only get two months of break. With that being said, would you like to clarify your point as to whether or not you were referring to high school or college? Or you can just ignore this post entirely and we'll table this argument since you aren't being specific enough to have a clear argument to counter me.

Well, during summer, my college often offered summer classes, and I took advantage of those to lighten the load during the fall and spring. It also made sure I graduated in four years and didn't make it take any longer than it needed to.

Most of the time these were just electives being offered during the summer. But I remember for my MBA, I took a Reputation Management class that only had to meet for four days! The catch? Class started around 8:30 AM and ended about 6 PM or something like that. But it gave three credits, so I just decided to go for it. It worked out pretty well in the end. We had two ten minute breaks and a lunch break, so it was bearable.

I'm doing a Platinum Nuzlocke at the moment. Or at least I started one, since it's been days since I even progressed. Too busy.

That's great! I started one once, then failed it, then starter another and abandoned it! 8D You should post it in the challenge adventures section!
