I mean, to each their own. At least you don't cheap shot it by saying you came as yourself or something like that.

I'm too much of an artist to do that. I could never do something so cheap.
Which reminds me, i should be finishing up my chapter.

Haha, good thing I'm not the only one thinking of stuff they need to finish. XD
I got the ideas, i just need to actually start on the rough draft. And mock up some character info, maybe attempt to even draw a doodle of my main character that'll look like a chicken got a hold of a pencil.

For me, I've been on a lot of interviews lately, and I feel like I've been doing well on them, but still no offers. It's a brutally tough job market out there right now.
Meanwhile, one of my dad's friends can't get a job, has maxed out her credit cards, has no source of income, had to clean out her savings and IRA accounts, and now looks like she's going to lose her part of the inheritance to one of her greedy sisters. Her internet, phone, cable, and all that other stuff are getting dropped and she's been going around begging for money. I thought my situation was rough, but then I look at her and I can totally tell myself it's not nearly as bad for me. Of course, I would work at a Starbucks or Whole Foods Supermarket if I had to just to avoid going into extreme debt like that. Even though I have a background of desk jobs with college degrees and an MBA, I'll do what I have to financially survive.
Well that absolutely sucks. I'm trying to get a job at my college's athletic department but I can't get the guy to contact me back.
I've had this idea for a story for a while now and just haven't written it. I started a while ago but didn't like the way it was going so I had planned to restart it but never got around to it.
The Prodigal Son is baaaack~
I mean can you blame him for being gone for so long?
Things may be better by the time you graduate. Still, it's a good idea to get a job part time while you attend classes. It's a tricky thing to do and I had a tough time trying to do it myself, but if you can make it work, it'll look good for future employment opportunities.
I'm thinking of starting something new. The sequel to Wildcaster really just isn't working out at all. I've gone back, deleted stuff, tried different story outcomes, tried a whole bunch of different things, and overall, I'm just not feeling it with this thing. The first one was great, was fun to write, and it didn't take itself too seriously, but this one just hasn't been working the way I wanted it to at all.
If I were to start something new, it would be in a setting that feels like Borderlands and Mad Max in style, but has fantasy themes tied in, such as magic, different races, and that kind of thing. The general theme behind it would be that people, despite obvious differences and previous misgivings about each other, need to set those aside and work together if they want to win. I'm still playing around with the ideas, though.
