Okay I thought it might be true but I wasn't sure because I thought the guy who told me this (who is from NJ) might have been flirting with me and just made that up to flirt. He was actually flirting with me too, as it turns out. But the reason this was brought up is because I am smiling in my photo so he was enamored with my driver's license photo and couldn't believe I was smiling in it so I thought I'd fact check just to see if this guy was legit or not.

It is definitely a strange and unforgiving place. It's gotten better over the years, but my goodness, NO ONE EVER LOOKS FORWARD TO GOING TO THE DMV.
