I still have Christmas shopping to do and we haven't put up Christmas decorations yet. And Christmas is... LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!

Oh snap, that sounds like you are in a pretty big pickle. I had a friend who would wait to the last minute and put up decorations, and then keep them up until August.

I just need two more. One for my dad and another for my brother's fiance, Heather. My soon-to-be sister in law come this April. :3

I still have no clue what to get my dad (he's really hard to shop for) but I have a good idea of what to get Heather. My brother got her one of those knitted mermaid tail blankets and urged me to get her this Little Mermaid onesie pajamas she said she wanted. I might keep going with the theme and get her a mermaid coffee cup from Starbucks. :3

And yeah, Christmas season comes and goes too quickly. Maybe it should be more like... Oktoberfest. XD

And Christmas stuff up until AUGUST!? And I thought having that stuff up all the way until March was silly. :P

Back in the old days I used to keep the Christmas decorations up until Easter and then instead of taking them down I'd just hang eggs on everything and call it Easter then leave it until summer break.

I need multicolor lights that can have selective color settings so I can:

Have red and white for Valentine's day
Green for Saint Patrick's Day
Anything goes for Easter
Red white and blue for Independence Day
White, orange, and purple for Halloween
Anything goes for Christmas

And that way I can keep the things up all year and just roll with that. :3

Maybe I should make this a kickstarter campaign. XD

I'm sure it's possible, but I just don't have the programming and electronics skills to make it myself. I don't know of anyone that does, either.

Yeah, I wouldn't conjure up a kickstarter unless I myself could create a working prototype or at least knew the exact people who could help me with that. And I just don't. :P
