SO MUCH FOOD.

I decided to play it on the safe side and not eat too much like a pig during dinner at my cousin's place. Not easy. There was like fifty different things to eat, including like a dozen cakes and pies. Geez.

I tried that but it didn't work. I rolled myself home. xD Depressed I didn't have enough room for all the desserts, though.

No big feast for me tonight. That's tomorrow when I go to the extended family's Christmas.

I had one tiny slice of layer cake, a cookie, and a few of those Italian-style layer cookies. Barely even scratched at the enormous horde of desserts that had overtaken the table with their... creamy and tantalizing deliciousness.

*Sigh* If only calories were easier to burn off...

In my family, we actually exchange presents and open stuff on Christmas Eve at night. Getting everyone together on Christmas morning is very hard considering you have some people waking up, taking showers, getting dressed, and eating breakfast at different times. In the past, it was a heck of a hassle. Doing it on Christmas Eve is easier because after dinner and dessert, everyone is together anyway, so that's the perfect time to do it. Then come Christmas morning, people can sleep in if they want to.

I ate a lot, but not as much as I could have. xD I cooked up this veggie roast which is sort of like mock-meat made from veggies and oats and it's so yummy and filling. *v* Had a bunch of roast veggies, salads, and snacks. Then later Kas made me this big vegan dessert with chocolates and cookies and ice cream. *w* I soooo could have eaten tonnes more but my tongue was like "pls no more sugar" so I had to stop. XD But my family ate all the fruit salad and didn't leave me any. ;~;

Also, super hot Christmas this year! Score! I love hot Christmases! XD Today it's raining though. Figures. Silly Melbourne forgot it was summer again!
