Okay so I'm currently doing an Independent Director Study at my school, and for my final project I'm doing a thing with improv with a couple of the kids from Drama II. And several of them are Pokemon fans.
One of them was trying to withdraw money from a bank account and this happened.

"Do you have an account for Lillie Howe?"
"No, we have one for a Lillie Lusamine."
"Try checking under the name Guzma."
"We have a Guzzlord. Do you even have an account in this bank?"
"This is John Street Bank, right?"
"No. This is Aether Bank."
"...Can you give me directions to John Street Bank?"
"It's down Melemele Road, off Route 3. Watch out for Team Skull, they've been hiding under the bridge."

I remember the first time I went to fencing practice I wasn't sure if I was going to make any friends and then I asked someone if they were a foilist and his response was "You thought I was a foilist but it is I, DIO!" And then someone from across the gym yelled, "Was that a motherflipping JoJo reference?" and I knew I was in the right place.

XD you never know where you'll find it. I mean I never expected to find anyone at my job where some people like anime and games. One of the CTLs up front she likes Pokémon like I do, gaming, and anime. She often picks on me too just because she's "bored" xD. But it's nice to talk to others you can really connect with.
