I graduated from *school* in 2012, although I did three years of sixth form (kind of school but kind of not? It's a type of UK college) so I permanently left last year! I'm graduating from university in 2019 haha lots of education left to go yay!!!! *sobs quietly*

Oh really? I think I learned about twin types in science, actually. When we were learning mitosis and meiosis and how fraternal twins are two separate eggs which get fertilised together (being two entirely different lifeforms) whereas identical twins begin as one egg which splits into two (hence the identical part). :D

Fair enough. I know the feels, even for specific tests or whatever. When you get 97% and you're like "dammit...could have been 100%." xD Lol thank you! I think it was in English. Of course you can! :D Sixth form...is that year 12? I don't know lol.

Now that you mention it, we had that conversation in science too. It was just after the first time I'd heard about it, so I didn't remember it as much. Identical twins are so strange in that they're literally the same person when they're born, but then they get their own personalities as they grow up. It's fascinating, really. :3

Exactly, and it's so frustrating. I corrected my coursework (which is a project you do in class that counts towards our final grades) to try and get 100%, and I don't think I got it in anything except maybe physics. English was really difficult to get higher grades in here, so doing well in it's always a good sign. Sixth Form is Year 12, yeah, as well as Year 13 (which I suppose would technically be Seventh Form, but that never caught on). It's different in that you do far less subjects than you did previously; I've gone down from ten to three. There are way more exams for those subjects, though, like 6 in maths compared to 2 for GCSE.

Congratulations! I've heard Sixth Form is really difficult compared to GCSEs, so I hope you did really well. Personally, I'm really looking forward to university, assuming I'm able to get in. :P

Yeah it's definitely a massive step up. GCSEs were hard because of the sheer number you do, but A Level is hard because the amount of depth to the subjects, you can't memorise for exams anymore. I got A*ABB in the end which I was really proud of!! I had to resit year 13 due to health issues though, I originally got Es/Us in most of my A2 exams :x

Uni's really fun though, my school really pressured me to take certain subjects so it's nice to be learning about something I really love!

I'm sorry to hear about those original grades, but A*ABB is amazing! I'm really worried that I won't understand enough stuff now, because memorising was pretty much all I sunk my time into when it came to revision for GCSEs. Although I suppose you need to remember at least most of the content in order to understand and apply it. One of the ones I'm doing now is psychology, which I've always been interested in, and I'm conflicted because a few people have said it's difficult, but others have said you're okay as long as you're interested in what you're learning about.

Yeah, learning about things you enjoy is the main reason I'm liking the idea of further education; whether or not I actually enjoy it, though, is an entirely different matter. You might be seeing me have a breakdown in three or four weeks. :(
