Podcast Central: You Can (Not) Go to Worlds

Summer is ending and we can see that by looking around us. Kids are getting nervous about school and adults can’t wait to have kids out of the streets. Also, Worlds is happening this weekend.

There has been plenty of talk about Pokemon’s decisions to make Worlds into an invitation only event. Many people do not think it is right. Others think it is just fine. After all, those who were invited did work hard to be there and Pokemon wants to make sure that they can enjoy their time competing in one of the biggest Pokemon competitions in the world.
You may disagree with this decision but sometimes things happen and we just have to accept that Pokemon is growing on the competitive scene. That is always a good thing and surely Pokemon will consider this as they plan for Worlds next year.
Let just agree that we all love Pokemon and wish for it to keep on growing! We can also say we love podcasts!
The Pokemon World Championships are happening this weekend! This even has a competition for TCG, VGC and Pokken but we are going to focus on the TCG! That is why we have two great podcasts that are all about the TCG!
