I believe that my interview with Ryne should be ending soon, but I was planning on interviewing Trinka after. Does anyone with less interview rapport potential want to take this, or should I just go to the lockbox straight away?

Now we just wait on responses for whenever they come around. To note, I started up a thoughts thread and I'm basically gonna go over every interview and my thoughts on them (only got 3 done for now). Probably just going to do this over so i can go back for a quick overview in case there are connecting parts that may help for later.

If you want to take out a suspect, please let us know and talk it over with everyone first! The last thing we need is to jump the gun and hurt someone innocent.

Oh trust me. Before I take any action I'll let you guys know and we can talk it out. I'm reviewing every little fact I can and will be interviewing one other person for now. Once I gather the facts together I'll post em here. Very little time for me to post a long response and post everything behind the thought process right now. I'll make sure to post things after work tomorrow

For now. I'd recommend looking back at any interview we have. Including how they act, what they do, items they have or use. Who they may talk to/hang out with or have been seen with recently. If they've seen anyone, etc. Link every little piece you can together. Meanwhile. I'm gonna go have a talk with Dari.

I thought having a positive rapport was what made them spill more info. Unless you think it will make him accidentally spill something he didn't mean to?

Eric was telling me he thinks it would be helpful to have all kinds of different responses so we can match them up; gather more info so to speak. Behaviour and such. Which might not help at all, but maybe worth a try.

Yeah, I don't want to let you down, Eric, but I think you've come to the wrong conclusion. They're not gonna get angry or anything like that at you-they're gonna not bother with you and 'politely' brush you off. They don't want to talk too much at all, which is worse. Distrust is rampant but unless you deliberately peeve them off, I doubt you'll get anywhere-and they may just walk off and leave, or consider those irritations equally unimportant as a stranger and 'not like them.' I'm getting a strong racist vibe from this town, no offense to anyone, and it seems to be a major point that Pokemon 'like them' make them open up compared to 'the others.' Case in point, Dassy clearly was far more guarded around you than around...

...Wow I am just the worst at names. Uh, the Altaria. Plus, she was friends with Daz. Double plus, how many Pokemon have you seen accuse other Pokemon that aren't of their type? Gloan was accused by Daz; Marche was accused by Mille; and such and so on.

I guess it's a 'better than nothing' sentiment, but I don't think they'll really care or take accusations seriously unless they feel its coming from a peer and not from someone who may not understand them at all. I always feel like I get weird looks when I'm not using the, uh, stealthy thing Mew gave us.

Alright, Marche's interview has been done. I'm going to not press the 'racism' issue as I think I've rambled on about it enough and it may get on some nerves-but it's clear that it's exactly that sentiment that has people accusing Marche, especially since she's so guarded. By her admission. Plus, it's pretty obvious that she wouldn't point out the Coin so easily-the Stalkers at the very least are aware and probably know about the other Stalkers. Now we have a pretty strong case against her being Non.

STALKER ID UPDATE:
-Shadefetch: No clues, no leads. Kills by Decapitation, Erasing Idenity as a theme.
-Undone: Daz has been tossed around as a candidate for a while now. Dassy's interview gives the suspicions further ground. Related to the Abandoned house. Kills by eyestabs-let us presume the mouth-carving is post-mortem.
-NTH: Related to numbers. Kills by cremetation. the XX-Key, the 987-passcode, and presumably the door in Diante's Guild belong to him. I'm NOT sure what's going on with the House right now, but he's clearly marked the place where the Victini Eyes are...
-Koax: Mille almost for certain. We'll wait until her report on the note comes in, though, before we take action. Reminder: Poet, Destroy/Create, kills by throat slitting (and then removes the heart).
-Epitath: No real leads. Gloan has been tossed around but evidence is faulty even with the house.
-Non: Still in the dark. Marche has been pretty much exenorated. Kills by Drowning. No theme, presumably the quietest.

ALSO:
Those coins. No clue what they're about. Related to the Stalkers FOR SURE, as Marche has given us that excellent tipoff. Presuambly one of them. I would think Non as they're the only Stalker we have no real leads on, to be honest. Coins = currency. Perhaps they're related?

EDIT: OK, OK, OK. Mille's response to that was the creepiest thing ever. We've found Koax, people, and there is next-to-no It's rather grim, but...We know what has to be done. Let's hope whatever's possessing her doesn't drag her down with her, so to speak.

Ok, since we have one stalker for sure, and just in case we don't get a try number two after we win/lose to see the other types of endings, I want to say that I think we should try for the 'best' ending where, if it is parasitic like we believe, the hosts are not punished for the parasites. I mean, it will mean having six murderers around until the end game, but they all seem like nice people when the evil is unawakened.

Any objections, arguments, agreements, or anything?

I was wondering the same thing. On one side, should we have some people focusing on the ritual while others focus on investigating? If we do find a Stalker, should we actually execute them or wait it out and see if we can't do it the pacifistic way? If a Stalker finds out that they've pretty much been found out, will they kill again?



I'm really conflicted on this, too. I'd very much like to see everyone else's thoughts on this.



There's a chance we'll end up being VERY split down the middle in this regard.



I mean...don't we have one kill every day or day-and-a-half or so? I think we ought to get the deed done before any further damage can be done, as I have a feeling that they WOULD kill again seeing that they're not aware of their actions to some degree.



Maybe later down the road when we have fewer Stalkers to deal with, we can think about waiting it out.



Mille seems like such a nice, but meek Vaporeon, though...on a moral standpoint I'd hate to do this, but do we have any other choice?

I'm not entirely sure I can abide by that. Plus, again, we don't know if Millie is just suffering from a mental disorder OR if her case is unique amongst the Stalkers-it would probably take confirming another Stalker to really pin down what's going on.

Plus, I feel like you're forgetting that we don't know if the Sin Purge ritual actually relieves them of these theoretical 'parasites' or just kills the hosts and symbiotes together. And while I'd hate to be that guy, it's really more like Demonic Possesion than something parasitic.

Most pragmatically of all...We don't know the whole ritual, aside from not knowing what it does in the first place, and we aren't exactly on the fast track on that. I say that we ought to be ruthless and save what we can, and if we can't, bid them a merry sigh off to Utopia-and our hopes that they were merely victims of this tragedy instead of the actual villains (or that the villains don't drag them down). I presume that failure is the most likely option, not the least-success isn't guaranteed and we ought to secure every step. We can purge who still stands if we get the ritual up-but we have to act as if the other Stalkers are going to be much harder to find and pin down.

And again, we don't know if they're just insane or were hiding a mask of sanity. Of course, the whole 'at night' thing really does strike it as a good chance, but either way...

...Better safe than sorry. Would we be responsible for Mille's actions as Koax if she killed another innocent? Her being found out may encourage her.
