You arrive back at the rather morbid Vordin Mansion and head underground to reach the entrance to the {Chapel of the SUNKEN God}.

You start by placing the [Left Half of the SUNKEN Face] in the metallic depiction of the twisted Arceus. It locks into place. You then complete it by adding the [Right Half of the SUNKEN Face], and that too locks into place.

Items: [Left Half of the SUNKEN Face] and [Right Half of the SUNKEN Face] have been removed from the Team Inventory.

The completed "SUNKEN God" looks horrifically grotesque when complete. Oddly enough, it starts to shake, jitter, and convulse, as if having a seizure. And then, all of a sudden, the doors rip open, slide into the walls, and suddenly a deranged howling voice enters your mind. You jump back and feel as if something dark and morbid has touched you.

And then, it's dark, spidery words suddenly ping right into your mind...

"I'vE tASteD yoUR soUL, KATiE. I kNOw whO YOu arE, NoW.

YoU DeCeIVe. YoU lIE. YOu mAKe tHEM aLl beLIevE.

You try to fight the voices and you continue forward. Inside, you make your way through the bleeding underground chamber and fight the voices in your head. All the while, they taunt and berate you, but you continue.

You then arrive at the twisted end of it all. The last and final nightmare slaughterhouse of Epitaph.

Standing before you is a sight that nearly makes you vomit. Before you stands the masterpiece, the "perfect" sculpture that Epitaph has been working on...

...A ten-foot Aromatisse sculpted and comprised entirely of Pokémon body parts...

The attention to detail is astounding. Even the pink and purplish colors are precise and extremely accurate to scale, and it is clear that Epitaph spared nothing to ensure absolute perfection was achieved for this monstrous project. In another circumstance, it would be incredible art, but... it's the horrifically morbid nature of the abomination sculpture that awakens the better part of you that makes you want to destroy it.

And there are bloody messages all over the walls, ceiling, and the floor. "Sacrificial perfection," "Glorious masterpiece," and "I have become the art of death, the creator of the flesh." Meanwhile, the name "Epitaph" is proudly written in many locations of the room, claiming everything as her own.

And there is something else here by your feet...

Woozy at the horrific sight, something else catches your eyes, dug into one of the wooden, bloodstained workbenches...

Suddenly the dark truth becomes all so clear...
