I never had to pull an all-nighter for college or grad school. I don't know how some people managed to do it, because my brain pretty much just zonks out around 2am or so. I couldn't do any kind of mental work.

I did, however, recently have to pull an all-nighter for something else. My brother was moving out of his house and everything needed to be out that morning. I volunteered to help him out and bam, it took WAY longer than we thought it would. We had to drive down and up three times to pack up everything, and his house was an hour away. Do the math, that's SIX hours of driving late at night (although I have to say the roads are very pleasantly clear during those hours). It was rough, but we finished... at roughly 8AM. I jumped into bed and didn't wake up until around noon. Not fun, but it makes for a good conversational piece. XD
