Okay, I'm that person who hates Christmas music... xD I just really do. Maybe not 'hate,' but dislike for sure.

BUT.

There are two songs from my childhood that I like only because of that reason; they were played every Christmas during my childhood. xD In a compilation CD my parents have. Michael Bolton and Mariah Carey...

Undoubtedly the best Santa Clause is Coming to Town rendition I have ever heard. There is no competition.


O Holy Night, Mariah Carey. It is beautiful. Also, she freakin' kills it live.



I actually do like Do They Know It's Christmas Time as well, because that was also on the CD. xD

Oh, I totally am well-aware there are a LOT of crappy versions of Christmas songs (though the two you posted are pretty good versions!). I could start a whole other topic on "Your most hated Christmas songs" but that might be a bit too negative. :x

And then there's some songs that have been overdone to death with multiple versions (looking at you, Jingle Bell Rock). Originally, it was a neat song, but they just killed it doing that. XP

I just don't like Christmas songs in general. xD Not necessarily because they suck, just because Christmas songs aren't my thing. XD
