Favorite 2016 Anime

I've been debating watching Yuri on Ice or not. I think my favourite cartoon from 2016 Fall was Stray Dogs season 2 (!!!!), for Summer 2016 it was either New Game! or Prisma Illya, for Spring 2016 it is either Kiznaiver or Stray Dogs... I am terrible at just picking one. I definitely cannot pick one overall either haha. You're lucky to not get lists from me! :)

Yuri!!! on Ice was pretty good. It's a bit silly but knows when to act serious. The ice skating scenes (especially in the beginning) are to die for. The animation quality does go down in the later episodes but not noticeably. The music is all pretty good. There's gay tension everywhere. And there is one part that I'll put in spoilers but still stay vague about in case you want to read it.

There's a character that seems like a sure fire winner of the gold and then he has the stupidest downfall ever. It was so frustrating.

Overall I'd say if that sounds appealing to you then go ahead. I usually live by the "three episodes rule" which says if I just can't stand it by the time three episodes are up, then I'll drop it. If I'm intrigued, I'll give it another three. It's a pretty effective system since I've only dropped one anime so far with this. So maybe just watch the first three episodes, see what you think, and then move from there.
