Favorite Shoes!

i walk, a lot. mostly for necessety but somethimes for fun. and i always have my trusty boots if it's cold or if im going trough the woods.
and yes, i do walk trough the woods enough for that to be a thing. somethimes while drunk.. mostly while drunk. now my boots have lasted just over 3 years so far and still hold together like new, if not a little worn. maybe more than a little. but boots are supposed to be worn. and these have been used for city walks, cold, snow, ice, swamps, dog sh!t, crushing sculls and then some. okay.. maaayyybe not crushing sculls. or much more than walking trough all the stuff nature loves to throw at you to make your socks wet. but my socks havent gotten wet, yet.
so how about it people, do you have a favorite pair of fancy shoes you only bring out for special occations, or some sturdy boots that always keeps you going trough anything? what's your favorite pair of shoes and what do you use them for?

A pair of Red Chuck Taylors, or Converse for you people who don't know.

Converse are just about all i wear. I got a worn down black pair with blue shoe strings, those shoes are just about falling apart. I usually wear my grunge trainers, tho sometimes i feel fancy and i will wear the plaid pair, which of course is red.

I even have a ghetto off brand. I don't know what the heck the name is, i think it says Indian but I can't find it anywhere online, i got em from a goodwill for 2 bucks.


Boi, i love shoes. I actually need more shoes.

man o man, i had a pair of Converse's last summer, at the time i walked across town 2 times a day (bout half an hour walk) for work, needless to say they did not survive trough the summer. not too impressed by the quality considering they were 50 bucks ._.
looked real good tho. maybe i'll give Converse another shot someday.

It all depends on the variant you get. A pair of trainers can last a good while, I've had mine for years. They have custom chuck taylors as well, even Chuck Taylor boots. And my god those boots are legit as hell.

I have a pair of Nikes (I'm not sure of the type exactly), but they're black with shades of dark-purple in certain areas. I haven't worn them in forever, but back when I used to break-dance, I would only wear them for major performances. Otherwise, I stashed them away.

As for shoes that I like in general... I'd have to say Vans.

My favourite shoes are probably just my lace-up boots that go just past my ankle. They're somewhat nice looking, but aren't uncomfortable to wear. :D My comfiest shoes are definitely my runners. B) So nice and padded. Like pillows for your feet!

Hahaha, Mujaffa. The list of what your shoes have endured seems endless! How great that they're so reliable. B) I don't have a pair of durable shoes like that. Mine would all be shredded shortly after I tried those activities you listed, haha.

well too be fair they'd be way too hot for the Australian climate, and i'd perfer a full suit of steel armor if i was gonna go anywhere near the outback, well that or a empty bottle of whiskey. perferably both. actually thought of the thopic because i walked about an hour walk in the forest this monday and parked one in a big puddle without getting wet, this sparked a conversation between me and my friend who was walking with me, he was less lucky with the puddle. even slept in my boots once on a boat, i mean i was cold. but my feet werent, it's something!

Bahahaha, oh that's true. Wouldn't want the 12 foot spiders attacking without armour. I keep mine out in the shed. XDD You honestly have the funniest stories. They sound like awesome boots. B)

I wouldn't have known how to answer this question until I got a pair of New Balance shoes a year ago. Since than, I have decided that my preferred brand of shoes is New Balance. Good stuff.
