I loved this because I actually LIKE all these puzzles. xD And, yeah, while they were a bit more challenging as a kid, there weren't any that made me tear my hair out in frustration (okay, maybe that Silph Co. one with all the warp panels...).

Silph Co. was beyond frustrating. I did, however, enjoy it. It's a classic. Another frustratingly difficult puzzle, for me at least, is Victory Road from Generation 1. It's complex, requires patience, and you better make sure you're loaded with healing items and escape ropes...

I enjoy most puzzles, so even if they're frustrating it never gets too bad. I don't have much patience, though. xD Oh, yeah! I forgot Gen 1 Victory Road. As a kid that place drove me INSANE. Mind you, I was about eight when I played through that. Nowadays, though, it's easy as pi. :p Although you do need a lot of healing items, as you said. Arceus forbid you're stuck in a cave when a Zubat poisons your entire team. ;c

You're right! Nowadays, it's a breeze to conquer. But when you're a child... yeah, it's torture.

I used to HATE getting poisoned by Zubat in caves, especially when I had little to no antidotes.

To me, Victory Road has ALWAYS been hell.

And then there were also the Braille puzzles from the R/S/E age. I'm surprised those didn't get mentioned.

Kanto's Victory Road really did serve it's purpose as being the TRUE test to see if you were worthy enough to defeat the Elite Four and become the Champion. It was beyond difficult.

I remember the Braille puzzles! Those were difficult too!

I didn't even complete the Braille puzzles. I wasn't too crazy about the Regis and going through all that extra trouble for them definitely didn't seem worth it. I was totally happy cruising around with Latias, Latios, and Rayquaza. XD

From what I remember, I had a tougher time chasing Latios and Latias.

Oh yeah, getting them took hours. I wouldn't have bothered if I didn't like both of them so much. XD
