I'll restore your HP in the morning so you can do interview-ish stuff that day-the First Aid ought to cure the poison as well. Someone (with security) ought to go check out the Philter hideout in Starwatcher Tower's top floor come morning. Then, well, Velocity or LKWayvern can do the honors of Exorcism. If we don't have evidence at that point I'm going to lose my mind.

Incidentally, I'd rather not be First Aid'ed unless we absolutely need my Science perk, specifically, for whatever reason. As things stand, it's a waste of a turn, and I think that after last night's rest it might be clearing up. I'm still consulting with the Emolga about that.
Feh. It makes no sense why we have a perk dedicated to restoring HP when it only restores 2 HP, while a Rest can restore an HP and a SAN (the latter being infinitely more valuable and unrecoverable in any other way) and both heal statuses. That annoys me. Like I picked the big loser perk, as we haven't found many other really viable uses for it yet (there was one, mind) and there's way too many sanity-shredding traps-re, the traps I can't heal from. Feh.

Resting does not heal status conditions. First aid is also useful for helping out teammates who can't afford to rest, need multiple health points restored in one turn, or if you have no healing berries. Resting is more for sanity. Having a perk that restores sanity would defeat the purpose of having sanity. Resting is also the only usable option when your health or sanity hits 0.
Like I get that you're frustrated, but don't forget Neo and I put months of work into it and we're dedicating our free time to this so people can have fun. Having a jab at it is a bit of a blow to us both. That being said, it's good to have feedback so things can be improved for round 3, but please try to be constructive about it. Trust me, you will flat-out NEED first aid to actually complete the game.
No comment. Wait until the end of the game before making judgment calls. *Hint hint*
Anyway, from here on in, Rest helps regain 1 Health and 1 Sanity, but it won't remove the status abnormalities. Otherwise, yeah, First Aid and Berries lose a lot of their value.
