OK, I think I've solved it.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting anyone to be able to do that just from that one page, but that's EXTREMELY impressive!

I actually took a security class a few years back and the first thing we covered was Caesar Ciphers since it was the first form of encryption. For decrypting it, it was just a process of:

• Associate each symbol with a number so I didn't have to deal with the symbols themselves
• Rewrite the text using the numbers
• Do a character frequency count for the first page

From there, due to its frequency, I was pretty sure that the U looking letter was E which I was then certain of from the fact that there was a common three letter word that ended with it, which would be THE. I was pretty sure that the two letter word that's on the first page three times was either OR or OF, and then the single letter word on page two had to either be A or I. From there it was just filling out the rest of the short/common words like AND and ONE, and the rest solved itself.

Most of us are using the Pokémon super mystery dungeon icons. If you go to the spriter's resource you can find some sneasel ones for sure.

I had a weird feeling that Udipheign was a little bit of a strange guy, but I honestly took that as his personality. Now that I read his reports again, he does seem to choose his words very meticulously as to not reveal too much. Is he afraid for his life, or afraid of being found out?

I never really caught onto Wador's slightly odd behavior either until Aurimas mentioned that bit about not wanting to hurt anyone. Otherwise, I would have just written him off as a grief-stricken Pokemon that recently lost a close relative.

Olea shows the rest of the team some of her notes.

"Wador the Lairon: Thanks to Aurimas for pointing this out...how he worded one thing is a little questionable. It's easy to miss: he mentioned how 'he never meant to hurt anyone.' He seems to be incredibly grief-stricken. Is he feeling guilty because an Enthraller promised him something and turned him into a killing machine? Did he have to kill his own brother? Or is he just stressed and grieving the loss of his sibling and isn't thinking clearly?:

Though the whole 'avoiding eye contact with everyone' bit is pretty suspicious. After all, absolutely NO ONE knows who's a Stalker, especially not in a city this big. It could be your best friend that's going around and brutally strangling other Pokemon to death for god's sake! You have to be wary if you want to look into what's going on, especially if you're not an Emissary. But...'the hour will be soon upon us'? That seems a little peculiar. Does he mean the night hour--as in he's afraid for his own life--or is he worried about revealing his Stalker identity in the broad of daylight?"

(Your level of successfully finding lots of icons may vary, but check here for the ones from the 2D PMD games, and here for the ones from the 3D games. You're more likely to find more emotions in the second one. c; )

Hmm...given the fact that "Oblivion" seems to communicate via braile (as far as we know as of now), do you think their killing method has something to do with vision? Or just...something visual? Maybe? If this were the case, "Oblivion" would make sense, since it pretty much means nothingness. Those that are blind see nothing but an empty void, y'know? Blackness.

I dunno, at this point I think I'm just talking to hear myself talk.

Hey, wait! Do you guys think Oblivion's "special talent" might have something to do with ciphering?

I think we're onto something here! @Chibi Altaria, do you think you could retrieve that security footage? I feel really silly for wasting a turn tho...just if it's a witness, I'd like to be able to find out who so we can question them ASAP. They could very well be at-risk for being killed!

OOOH Sarah, wanna join the team? ;3 Ahaha no but really, that's a cool idea. :3 So it could be opposites: protect the restrained, or make them a larger target for the Stalkers. >:3

@Pokemon Trainer Sarah - Turns out they do get protected! However, unlike Protect, instead of keeping a kill from happening at all, the RNG will reroll and kill someone anyway--just not the pokemon you're restraining.
