After heading back to the Omnicore Engineering Complex, you return to the almost impenetrable square building and head up to the 19th floor. You enter into the room with the large machines and search using your flashlight for the pressure plate that was mentioned before.

You head to the metal plate resting on the floor and after stepping on it, you apply just the right amount of weight to it to trigger the unlocking mechanism, which disengages the lock on the locker. You then head over to the locker to see what was being kept here.

Inside, you found a beautiful jade bangle with a golden trim and interior cuff. However, it seems parts of it are missing. There are two indentation holder mounts that look like something was once there, but they're missing whatever should have been held by these mounts.

Still, considering the nature of this beautifully made bangle, you can only conclude it definitely isn't of this world and shouldn't have been in this locker in the first place.

Item [Broken Jade Bangle] has been added to the Team Inventory.

With nothing else to find here, you decide to head back to base with your findings.

You arrive at the Silvercoal City Fire Department building, which has a decent view of the bay. Since the structure is small enough, you start your search around the exterior, which seems to be clear. Overall, there isn't much trash or graffiti here and generally it seems like the building itself is well maintained on a regular basis.

You then search inside, where the same kind of pattern follows. While it would seem natural for water type Pokémon to aspire to be firefighters, it holds true that plenty of other types of Pokémon aspire for this to be their career. Not to mention despite the powers of water Pokémon, firefighting equipment and technology is still very much needed.

The interior, save for the garage housing the three firefighting hovertrucks, is actually quite small and doesn't have all too much to it save for an area for lockers, administrative staff, and a small barracks-like area for night-shift and on-call staff in the event of a night emergency.

You are drawn to the locker area. It seems most of the lockers are used and have been properly secured, but there are a few unused ones. You search through these and most of them seem empty, save for one in particular. It seems like this one was secured with a different type of lock, one that requires a particular type of element to disengage it.

    Lock Mechanism {Type Lock KI8: +Grass Type+ / +Poison Type} was noted in the Team Records.

It seems you're going to need someone else to bypass the mechanism on this.

You take another search around the fire station's upper floors, but nothing else seems to strike you as unusual. You then decide to head out and return back to base.

Right, certain extraterrestrial circumstances don't give me time to think, so I'm repeating last night's action and protecting 83. Lora the Kirlia again. Respond how she does, Cheery to cheery... A flirt to a flirt, if it comes down to it, unless it's gloomy somehow, I must then reply with concern - nothing can go wrong!
...I'd also like to ask who the Stalkers might aim for, but. I doubt now would be the best time.

One again you show up at Lora the Kirlia's door, hoping that you won't be running into any Stalkers tonight, but also knowing that you'll be able to overcome any sort of challenge that one throws at you. With your giant shield-head and your Emissary powers, you know that you are the perfect bodyguard.

You plod a heavy foot against the door a few times until Lora throws the door open and beams at you. "Again?!" she exclaims, amused to see your face once more. "Are you trying to tell me something, Aurimas?" She chuckles, the Gothitelle sitting on the couch behind her subtly glaring at you. You get the feeling that these two are like sisters, possibly closer, who keep one another company. You imagine that the Gothitelle is over-protective, given how standoffish she acts.

"An Emissary at our doorstep," Carmin hums, moving steadily to the door as if she is floating, not walking. "...Perhaps you could get him another biscuit."

"You read my mind," Lora answers, rushing into the kitchen again. Then you are alone with Carmin, who again narrows her eyes at you. You get the impression that she doesn't trust easily.

"Thank you for protecting her," she finally says, which comes as a slight surprise to you. You give a nod, as if to say that you are happy to do so.

Lora comes rushing back and slams the cookie jar on the floor, throwing a hand in and grabbing a biscuit. "Here! It's my thanks. Stay safe, okay?" The Kirlia gives you a stern look, then says goodnight and retires to her apartment.

You gobble up the biscuit as you sit down, preparing to remain here until the sun rises and you're sure that she'll be safe.

#83 Lora the Kirlia will be defended against all Stalker attacks for this Night Cycle.

As you can see from an initial glance, the Silvercoal News Stand and Bookstore was only very recently abandoned by Nesmer the Torterra, who obviously thought fleeing for his life was more important than worrying about a few newspapers and books. Ironically, you can tell exactly when the Stalkers decided to strike just based on the last newspaper that was stocked here, dated only a few months ago.

The building itself isn't very big and is part of the same unit as the neighboring lawfirm. You decide to start by looking about the perimeter, which doesn't seem to be in bad shape. It also doesn't have too much damage either. From what you can tell, Nesmer was earning enough income from locals who just wanted something to read, and as a result, it doesn't look like Nesmer had trouble keeping up with rent. Had it not been for the Stalkers, you're certain business would have continued as normal and Nesmer would definitely still be here. Where he now, you can't even begin to imagine.

While searching the inside, you come across plenty of rows and rows of recently-released, best seller books in the first isle. Sadly, it looks like some of it was shoplifted without Nesmer to watch over it. However, it seems thieves aren't all too much into reading or newspapers from months ago as not everything was taken. Pretty much all of the snacks and candy were stolen, but most of the other merchandise is still here.

One thing that stands out as unusual is an audio recording holotape. It seems like it was stashed away here only recently right besides a bunch of magazines, but hastily and not very orderly. It seemed as though either the Pokémon that put it here couldn't use their arm correctly or couldn't see what they were doing. There's no reason for a holotape to be next to a bunch of beauty and hovercraft enthusiast magazines.

You decide to play it and it sounds highly unusual, like a distorted robotic voice...

=Audio Recording 1= was noted in the Team Records.

You decide to take it with you to determine if you can figure out more.

After making one last sweep around the store and the rest of the building, it seems nothing else sticks out as being strange or suspicious. You decide to head back into the night streets and return back to base.

Under a blinking streetlight, the Dakin Apartment Tower looks rickety, unsafe, and of extremely low value. You imagine that large Pokémon get turned down when they apply for an apartment here, as anything heavier than an average Pokémon looks like it could tear a hole in the floorboards. The roofing is broken in some areas, some of the windows are boarded up, and the paint looks like it hasn't been tended to in decades. The entire building is nearing its expiry, and you wonder how much longer it will be until the whole place needs to come down.

You tuck your wings in as tightly as possible as you wander into the property, feeling as if this place could dirty your fluff more so than any other place you've been to in the whole city. As well as your feathers being dirtied, you begin to think that you're going to have to shield your mind from the disturbing presence that you can feel from the front of the building.

Using a headlamp like the ones your teammates have, you carefully wander around the back of the building, hearing your feet lightly clap against the uneven cement path leading you around. The back section almost looks like a dumpsite, strewn with rubbish, debris and a dirty pond which you imagine nothing but bacteria or a Grimer could live in. After mounting a small rise compiled of broken bricks and building materials, you spot a statue which looks similar to the other two that your teammates found at Seventy-One Manufacturing and Rusto Memorial Plaza. You begin to near it, and in the darkness you are barely able to make out what is depicted in the carving until you are too close for comfort. You frown at what you see.

It is a stone depiction of a Primeape wearing a face contorted with pure rage. It holds a petrified Linoone by the scruff of its neck in one hand, and the Linoone's heart in the other. A hole in the Linoone's chest has been carved. Even details like the blood from the heart dripping down the Primeape's arm have been included. The carving suddenly fills you with anger, and after a few moments, you realise that you're not in control of your emotions. Seeing this statue disturbs you to no end, but it also implants your mind with feelings of hatred and rage. You tear your eyes away, giving yourself a break from the overwhelming emotion, looking back only to see three indents for different instruments in the stone that the Primeape is standing atop: a viola, a saxophone and a clarinet.

Object {Sculpture of Curses: Viola Contour, Saxophone Contour, Clarinet Contour} was added to the Team Inventory.

You realise that there is nothing you can do right now, so you take note of what you have seen and flee from the site, still embedded with strands of anger.

    (9) Two Dudes Burgers and Fries
You arrive at the small local burgers and fries chain that looks like it had closed up even long before the Stalkers became a problem here. Considering it was right next to the Patriarch Stadium, location definitely wasn't a problem, so you have a feeling poor food and bad service might have been the issue.

You search around the exterior first and easily notice the whole building has been slowly falling victim to the elements. The roof is falling apart, there is some light graffiti here, and the windows are either grimy or have been broken.

As you inspect the exterior, due to the darkness, you overlook some of the thorny overgrowth that has overtaken what used to be an area for bushes and accidently step and tumble into it. It's extremely painful, but it at least isn't crippling and only draws out a tiny bit of blood.

Felix has suffered 1 point of damage to Health.

As you painfully tear yourself out and pluck the thorns out of your feathers and wings, you decide to move from searching the outside and decide to check out the interior. Thankfully, getting inside isn't difficult at all. The door locks are broken and even if those were still working, there's a dozen windows that make for easy access.

The interior is a mess and could desperately use renovations. The tiled floor has been breaking down and there are dozens of tiles that are easy to accidently kick around like hockey pucks. Half of the plastic booths in the dining area have fallen apart and desperately need to be replaced, and the few tables that remain are dingy and dirty. Meanwhile, there is all kinds of water damage in the sheetrock ceiling, to the point where it looks like a camouflage pattern.

You find some evidence of squatters having been here before, but it seems even they have left. Mostly likely they headed to other areas in the city when they realized plenty of rainwater still leaks in from the ruined roof, making this a not-so-great shelter during rainy nights. When you have a whole abandoned skyscraper to squat in that's in even better condition than this place, it's easy to see why no one would choose to settle down in here even for free.

The kitchen is a disaster. It's gotten to the point where pests and vermin have already had their way with the place and there's nothing left to scavenge. Meanwhile, the equipment is either broken or it's simply not even there anymore. And what's left is very dirty, filthy, and greasy. The refrigerator is gone, the freezer room is no longer functional and all that's left are piles of ruined cardboard boxes and rusty metal containers, and the fryers are rusted over and have been already stripped of any still-working components.

On the broken tiled wall right above the fryers, you find an odd graffiti message written with what looks like a black permanent marker. It reads:

=Tile Grafitti= has been added to the Team Records.

All of the other graffiti here seems to be just scrawl or gang tags. Not a whole lot of it is comprehensible either.

You then decide to search the bathrooms, which have definitely seen better days. The lights no longer work, the water no longer runs in here, and it seems the mirrors have been broken as well. There also seems to be more graffiti here on the bathroom stalls and the tiled walls, but nothing of any interest seems to be here. Meanwhile, the walls, floor, and ceiling are in no better shape than the rest of this place. Without a doubt, it's probably one of the least sanitary places in all of Silvercoal City.

After completing your search, you decide to head back into the night streets.
