The game has changed bit with the introduction of GXs. The most powerful ones do take some time to set up but can be hard to take down. Though the only EX in that video that were worth anything was maybe Primal Groudon who is pretty nasty in attacking but takes time to set up.
@Neo Emolga You can try card shops and see if they will buy it for that price. Though part of the Pokemon card market depends on if the card is playable or has some fame to it. Charizard usually sells well due to it being...Charizard. Though most cards who are not in the current rotation don't do well. You can also try eBay as well.
