Can you fall asleep anywhere?

This is a strange question the more I think about it. But! How easy is it for you to fall asleep?

I sometimes can fall asleep sitting if my seat is comfy enough.

For me, falling asleep can be a struggle sometimes. It also takes me a LONG time to fall asleep.

I definitely couldn't just fall asleep anywhere.

No. I'm actually in a passive aggressive fight with my roommate right now because it has to be above a certain temperature for me to fall asleep. If it's too cold I will not sleep no matter how many covers I have. Unless I'm warm enough I can't sleep. I've gone many a sleepless night in college because of this.

I can stay asleep for a bit, like til around 12, especially since i have no job atm.

But i pass out around 4 am most of the times, and wake up around 10 most of the time

I can stay asleep, but GETTING to sleep? It is extremely hard. Even in the pitch blackness of my heavy curtained room, it takes hours

This is totally me as well...

There were days when I suffered from chronic insomnia and it has gone down lately.

But still, you never know... XP

But yes, I cannot just fall asleep easily, no matter how comfy or nice the place. And even if I do fall asleep- I wake up quite quickly- like, within minutes or an hour or so XD

I'm working on that and hoping on finding my sleep pattern better these days

It depends on how tired I am. If I'm exhausted, I can basically sleep anywhere. Otherwise, I typically need to be able to lay down. It's too difficult for me to sleep in cars/buses/airplanes.

My problem is that sometimes for no apparent reason I just take forever to fall asleep. Usually though what causes this to happen is A: I'm playing a fast paced game and then immediately stop and go to bed, so I'm still too hyped from the game to fall asleep, or B: I'm listening to something interesting on my phone when I lay down and don't want to fall asleep before I finish it, then once I finish it I can't fall asleep for some reason.

Usually by the time I lay down though I'm so tired I fall asleep in 20 minutes and stay sleeping all night.

Something else worth mentioning is that I need to sleep in a very specific position or it will take me forever to fall asleep.

The only time I can sleep is if I'm in a bed, and even then I take ages to fall asleep. The exception to this is that I have to be reeeeeeaaaaally exhausted. Then I might catch myself accidentally dozing off.

Generally no, because I'm one of those people who needs silence to fall asleep. I also need it to be really dark in order to sleep. However, when I'm tired enough, I'm able to fall asleep anywhere, like on coaches or aeroplanes, regardless of the noise or light levels.
