Ah, I didn't think about that. Probably because when I hear about buildings and explosions and clean-up duty in Megaman, I instantly get a mental image based on the games. Good point though.

I've looked over some of it again. Sabi wrote:

Maybe what's missing is some detail on how numerous these left-over structures are? Also, how tall are they? Are there any dome buildings and skyscrapers? What do they see in the distance? Sabi also wrote that X had to turn his head from maverick bodies. How many were there, and what kinds?

Char, I'll probably watch the lecture in full tonight and tell you what I think. I've watched some of it already and found it helpful. Thanks for sharing. :]

My big thing is I wasn't sure what kind of a building it was--was it, like, an apartment? Was it futuristic? Was is from the Bronx? I wasn't sure, since I hadn't played those games before xD

But anyway, I'm glad you found that informative ^^ That channel has plenty other good advice too, for plots, settings, and so forth ^^ It's been really helpful to me, personally xD

Anyway, I hope that my descriptiveness got a bit better as time went on. It was written over a looong period of time. I shall try to improve upon my descriptive skills.

In other news, I got past a character design bump and have official artwork of something now. YAY.

And you're right--roofs is a weird word... What's also a weird word is awkward. Two "w" placed awkwardly next to each other. Talk about awkward. Anyway xD

YAY--you share? :D Cuz visuals would help a Megaman noob like me xD

First thing to know about Megaman is that there are different - as myself and my girlfriend put it - 'species' of Megaman. Classic Megaman, Megaman X, Megaman Zero, Megaman ZX, Megaman Volnutt, Megaman .EXE, Megaman Starforce etc. They are all very different and the only ones that really relate to each other are Classic, X, Zero and some of ZX. All the other ones are fairly separate to themselves as far as I know. Each have their own notable art styles as well.

ANYWAY. Confusing things aside, the one I'm focusing on right now is the X series because its probably my favorite out of my top three. I try to stick to the art style as much as possible [even though how I draw things keeps changing over time like a bipolar maniac] when I make the fan characters, though I might bend some rules here and there.

If you'd like to see all my other designs of the original characters I made for the fic , I can upload the designs and post them here. Since you've all at least read the first chapter, I can give you what one looks like now that I've updated her look.

But wait, the fic said she was dark blue and didn't mention a gem on her helmet and such! INCONSISTENCIES.

Yes, I did say her body was a dark blue and her armor was a silvery colour. Any inconsistencies with her original mention of her appearance and this one are entirely on purpose. Why? Spoilers people, those are spoilers. Is surprise. I'm mean I like to leave people hanging.

That sounds interesting Char. Though I know you've mentioned magic, but what time setting are you planning on having it in? Typical medieval type, more modern or something else entirely? I find what's capable of being done in the time of the setting [depending on the era etc.] can play into how your villain's roll out.
