@Caity, I agree with what TotS said. Although...similar situation for me. I had a friend years ago who I stopped being friends with. Her character stayed in the story, but...I just made her the bad guy. XD Another character that belonged to a friend who I recently stopped being friends with will also remain in my story, because I loved the character.
