Awww I was looking forward to having Marx became the next ruler of the Black Lotus Empire. XD

I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to it happening down the road still, but maybe after the characters get some idea of what Ante is? It certainly would give the Black Lotus Empire more leverage over Athena if she gained Ante abilities but they still had Marx captive. They could even use it to blackmail her into joining the Black Lotus Empire or something. But then that would also raise the question of:

If Ante is awakened in someone, what impact would that have on the kids they're carrying if they're pregnant? Would the twins Athena is carrying become Ante warriors as well? Would the stress from the Ante awakening cause her to go into labor earlier? Or would it have zero impact at all?

There's a lot that can be done and explored that I'm not sure we should entirely rule it out yet.

Uh… well technically owls generally have babies over the course of one to two months ish so pretty far along if we go by that standard. If we go by human standards though, she's at the beginning to middle of her third trimester. She really shouldn't be fighting but Athena is an adamant woman. And as for why it doesn't show that well… pokémon logic? So yeah I meant she really technically could pop at any moment.
