Question. Will it cost a team a victory if one member leaves but the rest stay?

So say Bob, Sue, Joe, and Tim go into the bloodpit. Tim gets killed and Sue flips out then leaves, but Bob and Joe stay. Would that cost their team the win?

Nope! Just as Morzone said, as long as you have at least one survivor still active and in the fight, you're still qualified to win.

Hmm, good question. I'm fine with it being allowed, but I can't really think of a good way to implement it.

Maybe the only way to trigger it is by a drug, since there just aren't any Mega Evolution stones on Xia. But I'm open to suggestions and if other people have interesting ideas, we could go with one of those.

Hmm, good question. I'm fine with it being allowed, but I can't really think of a good way to implement it.

Most of the time when it's in a no-humans setting, I have it so Pokemon need to have a really close relationship, possibly being mates/partners, with the evolving one have a Mega Stone and the other having a Keystone. i just had the idea one has a wedding ring/necklace/whatever with a mega stone the other has one with a keystone aaaaaaaaagh this strikes me as adorable

Although, a drug opens up a whole new avenue of darker possibilities that I hadn't even considered...
What side-effects does it have, I wonder?

The relationship idea is cute and a little on the lovey-dovey side. But I'm kind of leaning more toward the drug use idea.

For side effects of the drug, I'm thinking of having something interesting and not crippling or annoying to deal with when RPing it. Maybe there's a brief feeling of mania and disillusion for a while and then it wears off. So kind of like when Tazz had Nora react to Swift, everything when all Alice in Wonderland on steroids. Maybe that's something that could be done.

I fully intend to begin exploring these questions in Day 2 of the events because drugs is an aspect of worldbuilding I have never before explored and now my imagination is running wild and I feel an urge to play Station to Station really loudly.

Yep! The only thing that prevents it is the Air Looplet. Food for thought.
