People are all different, and can have dramatically different opinions. And most have reasons for those opinions. Some have far better reasons than others, it's true. But just because one person in one demographic or sexuality or gender or country says one thing, doesn't mean that everyone sharing that quality will agree, or will agree for the same reasons. And people are capable of having their minds changed, by visiting different areas or talking to different people or reading something really thought-provoking. Humans love categorizing and sorting and labeling things because it makes the world easier for them to understand, but you can't just shove everyone in one category and say because they're in that category, they're exactly the same. You can't help what color you were born as, where you were born, you can't help who raised you and how they did so, you can't help your gender and sexuality. You CAN help what you decide to research, and the opinions you formulate, and how you go about supporting them and promoting them. Some people grew up more aware of certain issues than others, and others only became aware of those issues later in life. But if you have legitimate reasons to think the way you do, then your opinion on that matter should be valid.
Not everyone can experience everything. If you've done the research, or if it's affected you or your friends even indirectly, or if something moved you, then you should be able to speak out about it.
