Well my first forum experience was with pokefarm and that community was great for getting me started but the crew I joined in with on fusemon (and then we subsequently moved to a proboards forum because fusemon died) is probably where I got my best experience with forums. Pokefarm was great but I tended to get banned a lot.

EDIT: The permaban? Not a clue. Though the guy who I was talking to at the time the permaban took place said that he got permabanned as well because when we were exchanging pms we made "crude jokes." And I can tell you that it wasn't even that bad.

Lol that'd be awesome! But if I remember correctly the joke went a little something like this:

Zack (the guy I was talking to at the time this all went down): Want to hear a joke?
Me: Is it clean or dirty?
Zack: both
Me: proceed.
Zack: Ok, a man is walking down the street and he falls in the mud.
Me: that isn't very funny, amusing but not funny.
Zack: wait I'm not finished. So he goes home and takes a bath with bubbles.

Zack: Bubbles is his neighbor.
Me: You suck you know that?

And then we were banned. We connected on deviantart soon after so we're still in touch but come on! That wasn't even that bad!

Oh I know exactly who banned me and I think she did it only because we had a long line of hating each other and she had just gotten banning powers. So she did what all great tyrannical moderators do and…

To be completely honest I'm not sure. But I know she became like a really big important person on PF. Not sure about PFQ though since I've boycotted the site since I know I wasn't the only victim of this. A lot of my friends on PF that were connected to me on DA started getting hit with the banhammer too for no apparent reason. Some of them I could see but there were a few friends of mine that I knew IRL that there was no way they could have done anything wrong! And they wouldn't tell us straight out why we got banned. We'd have to email them from a parent's email account to figure out why we got banned but they'd never email us back and tell us why. It's stupid. I actually liked (forgive me if I misspell her name but it was the female shinx admin) Kinochina. She was really nice and we often roleplayed together. Kolink, on the other hand, was a jerk. I mean he was good some of the time but then, right before I got banned and stuff, he started acting like… well a whining child. And I don't mean to offend people who actually like Pokefarm and kolink. That's good for you but in my experience that guy was a jerk. One of my IRL friends even got a permaban from him because, oh get this, they accidentally posted a question about the dreamworld in the incorrect forum. They were asking how to advance through the game but they accidentally placed it in the thread for miscellaneous chat. Anyone else find that the littlest bit odd?

Sorry I just went into complete rant mode but if you all had known me prior to my joining this forum then you'd known how much I hate how they handled the system in Pokefarm.
